Oh boy, where do I begin! Across the street is Boston market. But I decided to make it a healthy choice and I am very pleased... with the outcome. I ordered a Cobb salad with tofu and no dressing along with a cucumber, mint lemonade. You cannot go wrongwith this combination in my opinion. fresh salad, the avocado was extremely flavorful and creamy, the tofu is perfectly seasonedteriyaki, and the hard boiled egg was cooked to perfection! Always Fresh. Has Cobb Salad, Thai Salad which is so good. You get a large salad bowl that is definitely plenty. The cucumber... mint drink is delicious and only $1.24 - medium size. My favorite lunchtime hangout. Read more
Usually salad and go has great service,even at the walk up window,but this one not so much. I get it's kinda in the ghetto,... however it's disappointing when you use public transport,bike or walk and you may or may not get service at this locationdepending on how staff feels that day. I was under the impression this establishment exists so people have healthier foodoptions to improve their health. So,maybe don't penalize people that choose to walk or ride bikes for their health and make sureif your open,then so is the walk up window. Take added security measures if you must in that area with a more secure window,or awater station away from the window for the homeless that frequent that area. Just don't penalize your walk up customers...or letyour employees do it either. Read more
This isn't Like me normally I focus on the positive and only the positive ...but sometimes you just have to vent a little and... right now I'm needing to vent!! ????I drove through my drink stop which is salad and go to get my usual strawberry frozenlemonade and a cucumber mint lemonade and I drink one & put one in my travel tumbler (to keep cold)but as she's handing me thestrawberry frozen lemonade it's leaking and telling her it's leaking and she's like oh it's just out of the top & continueshanding it to me. *I don't care where it's leaking from it's leaking all over my clothes and I have somewhere to go in a littlewhile-- and just A sticky mess!!!???? Careless & unconcerned. So as I'm cleaning myself off a different employee reopens thewindow; so I asked for some napkins another girl & she makes a strange face at me and sort of laughs at me and says napkins???Needless to say: I will not be back to Salad and GO???????? specifically NOT this one!! P.S. the cucumber mint taste like dirtand the strawberry lemonade smelled and tastes funny.???? Read more
This is partially on me since I didn?t notice when they handed me my bag, but I ordered 2 salads and a drink and got home and... realized that the bag only contained 1 salad and was missing my BYO. I checked the receipt on the outside of the bag and it?s myname and my order is correctly listed, they just didn?t include 1/3 of my order. I?ve always had a great experience with Saladand Go overall, but this is the first time I?ve ordered from this particular location and it will be my last. Normally I wouldgo back and try to get this issue fixed, but I?d lose more money in gas than I have just finding something else fordinner. (I still love Salad and Go and would recommend it, just check your salad before you leave) I just picked up an online order for... two salads and arrived home only to find that the Brussel sprouts in both salads look and smell really off. Just looking at itmade me lose my appetite. I have gone to this location and ordered this salad multiple times, but this is the first time itlooked like this. This is disappointing because it was a long day and this was going to be a treat. Along with all of this,there is no phone number to call and ask if I can get it remade or get a refund. Now I will have to drive back to the Salad andGo and hope something can be done so I don?t lose money on the salads we won?t eat. Lesson learned to check the salads before Ileave the drive thru. Update: Drove back to the Salad and Go, and was told they are supposed to look like that. They aresupposed to be squishy, wet looking, and smell bad? Never looked/smelled like that before and I have gotten this salad multipletimes! No refund but they remade salads without the Brussel sprouts.
