What a pleasant surprise. The carne Asada taco was really good. The steak was cut into bigger chunks but still tender. The... chicken tinga I was nervous about but the Cojita cheese really made it pop. The pork carnitas was nicely smoked and the redonion provided good acidity. Oh my nachos! My hubbie and I are nacho aficionados and this platter of golden crispy chips piled high with a cornucopia of... delicious flavors knocked our socks right off. We?ve been twice now and both times have left stunned at the thought andintention behind the flavor combinations. We?ve tried several of the tacos and they?ve all been lip smacking good, my favoritewas the Nashville Hot. The customer service is also outstanding. Huge shout out to Juan (our server) and Andre (the manager)for being upstanding and honorable individuals. Went on a Saturday night and we were seated right away! We were offered free elote since it was our first time in, and it was... BOMB. Drinks were delicious (I got the Coco loco and my husband got the margherita tease) and we each had a taco plate. Reallyyummy. We got the three salsas and chips as an appetizer and they refilled our chips twice! Really nice people working here andthe vibes was cool. Loved the murals. Went here for the first time tonight with my Fiancé & we loved it! We sat outside & they had misters blowing on us. Good music.... Our waitress Haley was great!! Stopped here for the first time on Sunday. We came for brunch around noon. We were the only party there when we arrived, a... couple other parties arrived after us. The service was a little slow for the fact that they hardly had anyone in therestaurant. We sat in the patio and they turned on the misters for us, as it was warm out. The misters worked well to help keepthe patio cool. The patio was also clean. Overall we had 4 drinks between the three of us and some food. The food wasdelicious. So right off the bat the presentation and decor is really good. Service was good due to the fact that there where only 6 people... total in the restaurant. We ordered 2 three taco combos, chips & salsa, with bacon brussle sprouts. For the meats we chosechorizo, Carne Asada, carnitas, and shrimp. The chorizo was fluffy but not enough heat and the sauce on top was too much wherethey could of just had a shredded cheese. Carne asada was good and if I went back it would be my top pick. Carnitas where toosweet but cooked well. Shrimp tacos where really good no complaints. The brussle sprouts where the star and honestly the onlytweak I would say is char them just a little bit more but besides that delicious. Chips with there 3 homemade salsas where justmeh. Also the rice and beans on the side where a good pairing. Final thought for the price tag of what we spent ($50) we couldof got better quality of food and cheaper nearby.
