Reviews for Salvadoreño Restaurant #2- Pupusas in Phoenix, AZ
Definitely the best pupusas in town. We always feel welcomed. We have been helped by Sonia more than 4 times and her customer... service is awesome. Yes, the restaurant gets busy, but the wait time is normal taking into account that the pupusas arehandmade when ordered. Read more
The food was delicious. I ordered the steak and chicken popusa combo and a coke.
I've been here a few times to eat but the last 2 visits my family and I experienced extremely long wait times and poor customer... service from the waitress and servers. We showed up just as they opened the doors on a Sunday morning, along with a few otherswaiting. The waitress had an attitude and didn't speak any English so the language barrier made it difficult to communicate anyquestions. I've tried giving this place more than one opportunity to improve their service. The food is great but it's notreally worth the long wait and rudeness from the waitress. Once they serve you that's it. You have to chase them down if youwant a refill on anything. Read more

It's unfortunate that this place has such great food because the service is absolutely horrendous. I looked at the bad reviews... on Google but I like to try every place once and give them the benefit of the doubt but man the reviews were right. I alsowitnessed two tables get up and leave before they even got asked if they wanted something to drink because they took way toolong to even be asked. If you're okay with servers skipping over you, not asking if you want a refill and servers who don'tlisten this is your place. Otherwise, steer clear. Read more

We stumbled by looking for something new and we love pupusas so we stopped in to have some. There were many different flavors to... pick from and we got the 3 pupusa plate each with two sides. The fried plantains are delectable and the frijoles were as well.Really good attentive service and a family oriented place to dine. Read more
First-time and last-time customer. We got to the restaurant excited to try their pupusas. It was an empty place. The cashier... told us to sit down it took a while for her to take our order. After we order we waited 20+ mins I asked how long it was goingto take since we have kids to pick up and we don't live in the area. The cashier was rude and only said our food is next orsomething else along those lines. She made me feel like they even haven't started our food. I understand that this is not afast-food restaurant but there are ways to talk to paying customers. I would've waited a little bit longer for the food to beready and taken a to-go box but the way she talked to me and her attitude was not worth more of my time. In the I end, I endedup wasting my time and no pupusas. Read more
