I cannot believe I have worked in a building in front of this restaurant for a year and I have not tried this food before! When... I tell you I have been missing out I mean it. I love this place! It has been one of my favorite places to eat in the Phoenix metro area for a while now. The food is amazingly... delicious. My favorite entrees to get include Meat Jun, Spicy Pork, Spicy Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and Mandoo. The macaronisalad, glass noodles, and kimchi are some of my favorite sides.The quality of the food is consistent. This place deserves moreattention. March 09, 2022: I ordered the last Teriyaki Burger of the day. It was delicious! This restaurant still remains oneof my favorites. the food was average. I have had better Hawaiian food. The flavor wasn?t anything special and the chicken Katsu looked weird... from the inside. It?s right in downtown so the location makes it easy. The plates do come with a lot of food, though for $15it?s a semi big plate. For a day I was hungry and forgot to bring my own lunch to work it served it?s purpose but I don?t Iwould repeat the food soon. Maybe in a long time, it was just ok. Read more
It's okay. Somehow I expected more. First negative piece is that they have only plastic utensils and take out containers. But... then the food really was not that great. And to top it off there was too much rice for the money. You can see that on one of theteriyaki bowl photos - as soon as you take a slice or two of beef and it's all rice underneath. Absolutely delish! Chick katsu, rice, salad, Mac salad, all perfect! Reasonably priced and good portions. Def going back.
