We went here recently for dinner for the first time and were thoroughly impressed. We had the swordfish and the pesto pasta... and started with the Gulf Shrimp and focaccia bread. We were very pleased from appetizer all the way to dessert. It also has avery good vibe and fast service. Another bonus was they had my favorite local beer on draft from Wrenhouse brewery. Unreal that I used to go \"clubbing\" at this spot back in the day before this was tastefully transformed to a restaurant.... Everything that we had was so yummy! We got the eggplant, New York strip steak, a whole snapper, and a yuzu tart for dessert.The eggplant was really good even for those that have an issue with texture like my husband. I always prefer from-scratch and wood fired places that prepare food organically and cook it naturally. PaLa was no exception. ... Phenomenal choices of food.
