I visited Osteria Mia for for first time the other day and it was decent. I ordered the fungi (I think that?s what it was... called) pizza and my friend had the diavola and we shared the fritas appetizer. I had an ice tea and she had a beer. The pasta and sauce was out of this world! Chris was our bartenter and his smile is not only contagious but it made me feel warm... and fuzzy inside. 10 stars if i could! Update: this place deserves more than 5 stars! I went back tonight and got the pork ossobuco on special and it was excellent! The service was great and the bruschetta was amazing as always! First time trying this place despite it being so close to home and I'm not disappointed. Went early and the place was pretty... quiet but the food was excellent. Tried the Butternut Squash Ravioli and my wife had the Tortellini. Both tasted amazing and Iwill be going back. Read more
Decided to come here for a date because it looked like a nice menu and the place had a fancy name. As soon as you enter the... restaurant, you get more of an "upscale" mall cafeteria vibe. Never in my life have a felt so over dressed to eat Italian lol.Was looking forward to trying the squid ink pasta dish. They were out. The only decent thing on the menu was the cocoli (pizzadough + honey + prosciutto + melted cheese appetizer). Extremely filling appetizer, tasted great but not worth going back for.We also got the fritto misto. Each vegetable was so big and greasy that they came out looking like deep fried Oreos. The saucethat it came with tasted amazing but felt like I was eating pockets of grease (too ugly for a pic). The pizza looked BEAUTIFULbut the taste was so unsatisfactory that I left half of it behind and I never leave leftover pizza behind...EVER. The sauce wasalmost sugary and the rest of the pizza had zero flavor. Probably won't come back here or recommend it to any family/friends butwilling to give it another try if they make any changes because I love to support local businesses. Read more

We just had by far the best and amazing food in Phoenix. The pizza taste like ingredients are freshly picked, the pasta is just... awesome and the service is commendable. Samantha gave us options and honest recommendations when we ask for her thoughts and shedefinitely nailed it giving me and my wife. Pizza -freshly hot served Margarita Pasta Gnocchi with grilled chicken and Sautéedshrimp Risotto di Mare as top of the list.
