We made a reservation in advance for 7 people and they had a table waiting for us with water and cups set up. They have a nice... selection of beers and some great cocktails to complement the delicious food! I had the chicken sandwich, which was crispy andjuicy, and a side of crispy sweet potato fries. The bartender was great and attentive to everyone there. Overall, if you are intown and looking for a good selection of beers (some of which are from local breweries) and a bite to eat, this is a great stopto make. Read more
Met a couple of friends here. A few patrons were there and we decided to sit at the bar. Before we knew it, it was a packed... house. Christian was the only server, so our orders took a bit but we didn’t mind. He was hustling, trying to accommodateeveryone and still with a smile! I ordered the blackberry margarita. To be honest, I didn’t taste the alcohol much—almostlike a sweet drink; which is dangerous bc before I knew it, I felt the buzz! Ordered another, along with a Cali Creamin’. Assuggested, I ordered the Bees Knees crispy chicken sandwich. Oh my goodness! Perfect crunch, packed with flavor, juicy chickenaccompanied with sweet potato fries. I was full before I knew it. I was eyeing the pork belly appetizer but I ended up with theedamame. That sauce used on the edamame is officially one of my favorites now! My daughter is a vegetarian and sometimes has ahard time finding a dish she actually enjoys—she got the veggie burger and was delighted. So, it’s safe to say, she’llreturn as well. Used our Pub Pass. Good service at the bar. Haven't been here for a few years, even though we live pretty close. Will have to... come back soon. We only had beers this trip since we were bar hopping. Second time trying their food on location. First was via delivery and I knew I had to go there in person. Firstly, you MUST have... their IPA Glazed Pork Belly! It's officially on my craving list. And so is their Steak Frites. Perfectly seasoned melt in yourmouth cut of steak cooked exactly to order, fries were delicately crisp on the outside and tasty potato-ey fluffy goodnessinside; but the piece de resistance was the insanely delicious whole cloves of roasted garlic throughout. My mouth is alreadywatering just remembering every treasured bite. Original Gravity is that wonderful neighborhood pub you almost want to keep asecret and not share but even if beer's not your cup of tea, they serve a wonderfully delicious Old Fashioned. I had a sip ofeach of a flight of their most popular non-IPA beers - don't ask, I personally dig IPAs, lol - sometimes, you can't choose yourdinner mate's preferences. Less than half of my chicken sandwich had chicken. A lot was just fried breading. The sand which was so dry. Good fries. Strange... annoying noise coming from the vents where we were sitting. Friendly gentleman that helped us. No non alcoholic beers. Shame! Read more
