I went to The Original Chop Shop last night for dinner with two friends and we had the BEST experience!!!! The food was very... good and appropriately priced, but the friendliness of the staff was what really stood out. The manager (Kat) stopped what shewas doing and came over to talk to us and make sure that we were completely taken care of. She asked our names & attended uswith a smile & made our dining experience special. We all felt special. Read more
The Chopshop serves delicious, healthy, flavorful food. They have sandwiches, salad, protein bowls, protein shakes, fresh juice... and lots of breakfast items. We ordered the Thai Peanut Chicken bowl with sweet potato hash and the red chili shrimp with steakon top plus one of each cookie (cuz why not). Awesome staff! From the moment we walked into this location we were greeted and helped from smiling faces. I've eaten at the Arcadia Original ChopShop several times and every time the experience is the same - absolutely wonderful. The... cashiers are universally friendly and welcoming, the servers are attentive and seem to genuinely like assisting their diners,and the restaurant is always spotless. The food is consistently well-prepared and tasty and the portions are reasonable for theprice paid. They also have the best lemonade (sugar- and stevia-based) in town. While it would be nice if they opened a locationcloser to my home in Downtown Phoenix, I'd probably still frequent this location because the people are so delightful. Read more
I love the staff! Drew is the best, he remembers my sister and I every time, even if it?s been awhile since we?ve been in to... eat. I love that we are greeted right away, even if busy. Everyone is professional, assists with the menu or suggestions ifasked. The food is great, the menu is varied enough without being overwhelming. We are even checked on after we receive our foodto see if everything is going well. I love the staff, love the environment, and love the food! Plus, we love the outfits basedaround jean fabric!!!! The Thai chicken bowl is consistently amazing. I add Brussels sprouts and it?s so good. The blood orange lemonade was sooo good... as well! And always recommend the toffee oatmeal gluten free cookie! Read more
Affordable and delicious! Visiting a friend in the area and was craving something light and fresh. Saw the positive reviews so... we stopped by to grab an early dinner before my flight out. There's both plenty of parking and lots of seating inside andoutside. I ordered the Kale Caesar, added chicken and got it in the whole wheat wrap. The whole thing was only $12, which wasvery reasonable. My friend got a steak sandwich and when we got home, devoured both. The service was great and our food preparedquickly. If I am back in the area I would definitely stop back here for a meal. Read more
We stopped in for a quick bite for lunch and ended up getting two steak bowls (one sweet, one spicy). The reviews looked... promising and once we got our dishes they looked very appetizing, but unfortunately they were really disappointing? theingredients tasted old, the meat was dry with lots of fatty bits, and the sauces were really overpowering and sweet. We came inat a weird time for lunch, so we?re assuming the ingredients had just been simmering a bit too long, but overall it wasn?t worththe cost and we both could only do a few bites.
