Normally I order delivery so maybe that’s the difference but today I opted to sit down and eat at the restaurant. I couldn’t... decide on rice and the guy who took my order (turned out he was the owner or manager or whatever) asked if I was trying to“watch my girlish figure.” Seriously ? They didn’t offer any extras (chop sticks, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce for myspring roll) and I had to ask for them. Guess if I do this again I’m ordering from home. I don’t even feel welcome here. Read more

Their ribs are to DIE FOR! Their fried rice is so good! Everything is piping hot and fresh tasting! It's your typical hidden gem... and it's my new favorite Chinese place! Read more

Ordered Chicken Kung Pau and the chicken was not the best Chicken I have had. Did not taste fresh and the texture was rubbery.... I liked the fried rice with it. The kitchen is really sad looking. Not what I expected to see when I ordered my food. Lookedvery hodgepodge. Could use a good cleaning and definitely need to remodel the kitchen area so the customers aren't turned offwhen they order and especially when you are a brand new customer as I was that day. Son got take out delivered a mile away from the restaurant. I answered the door to find general manager demanding a tip. Tried... picking a fight with me. Kept ranting said that "respect is equivalent to a tip in this country" as he blatantly yelled at meon my front door step in such a respectful way. It wasn't my order. I knew nothing about it. Calmly told him to refund myson's money and take his food back. He kept ranting. This time about his car and more about tips and respect. He admitted toknowing before he left the restaurant that there was no tip. He chose to come to my house with the intent of money grubbingand picking a fight. Not good business practices. I again asked him to refund the money. He decided instead to leave thefood. Said we were black balled. Respect is paying your employee's a decent wage so that consumers don't have to pick up theslack for your greedy disrespectful behaviors. Read more

I called to order delivery and the woman who picked up was very rude. She did not verify my order nor ask about order options... that come with some dishes. She did not give me an ETA, nothing. Once she got my card number she literally said, "ok bye" andhung up. The driver was very nice, the food was not worth the overpriced costs and the lady makes me never want to even setfoot inside. Which sucks because I LOVE Chinese food and was hoping this would be my go to place. Read more

This is a true mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant. Not many people think this Chinese place is open. I had shrimp with noodles. Very... good. If you're looking for a Chinese restaurant on Cactus near the 51 freeway this is the place to go. It's right next toChompies restaurant. If you're tired of chicken hamburgers or even Jewish food this is the place to go. Mr. Cook's is very good. Read more

So I ordered a large triple delight dinner special and this is what I got!!! Since when do you add the white rice to the dinner... so that it soaks up ALL of the sauce and then give me sweet and sour sauce!?!. What is wrong with you people? What I paid forand what I got is wrong!! The quality of your food and how you treat your customers has gone downhill immensely!!! Never againwill i waste my money on you. So disappointed! Read more
