We have faced complete Racism n discrimination last night. Called them at 10 20 and asked for a table n a lady mentioned they... have table for 5 else we could be seated at bar. We came in by 10 30 and wasn't even allowed inside saying no place. I calledback on their phone at 10 38 and she again mentioned there is place but the front guy never wanted us in. We were appropriatelydressed n wanted to try out this bar but the front rude guy was the most racist fellow I faced in past 11 years. They lost few100s of our business last night n mainly the trust. Came in with a friend for a cocktail and chat and was pleasantly surprised. The decor, cleanliness & prompt service was great.... The menu was easy to read and the drinks were excellent! Strict dress code so no ball caps, etc. Great spot for drinks withplenty of comfortable seats! Read more
Our crew had a blast! We were greeted at the door by a nice guy who introduced us to the manager, Cat who was very welcoming and... gave us a bit of history about MercBar. We came here for after-dinner drinks. The drink menu was fun and offered options. The service was okay, though not very helpful... with drink selections. The ambiance was swanky and set up for conversation, but it was a bit loud to hold the conversations. Read more
Have to say I was disappointed on my most recent visit. The bartender was rude and seemed annoyed to even have to make our... drinks. The hostess was not very accommodating. I understand they reserve tables but when there are 12-16 open seats that arereserved and no one shows up for an hour?Give the table to customers paying for drinks in the bar. We left after an hour andtook our party of 8 elsewhere. Don?t see myself going back. Too many better options out there. Read more

The most haughty pretentious place I?ve been in the Biltmore district. We were asked if we had a reservation? Very... pretentiously, the place was empty. Then we were told we?d have to wait at the bar until all of our party (3) arrived. Therewas no one In the place! My guest sent his drink back twice, my dirty martini (no blue cheese olives) was served in a wine glass(see picture) then they wouldn?t give the 3 of us separate checks.
