Reviews for Los Taquitos in Phoenix, AZ
I came here a few weeks ago and it was delicious! Don?t even really know what kind of meat I got because I don?t speak Spanish,... but I wasn?t picky and it was still yummy! The reason for the 4-stars is because this place seems ridiculously expensive. Thebest deal is to get their 3 tacos, rice, and beans on a Tuesday! Read more
Definitely my new favorite Taco place. They get almost everything right. Pepsi products is their only shortcoming IMO. If you... like AUTHENTIC street tacos rice and beans, you gotta stop in. Read more
Ok the better half sent me to the outlet mall to pick up somethings for her. Note I've been up since 3:30am to be at the... training bt 4:30am. Yes I'm here for work and I still have a honeydew list. How is this possible?!?!?! Anyways get to thepoint Ward. I'm starving since I didn't eat lunch. I pass by this food truck smelling good food coming from it. This smellgot me like "what". After I pick up the items for the better half I make a beeline to stand in line for the food truck. Ialmost went to the food court as I don't like standing in line. I'm glad I stuck it out as the tacos was very tasty. I ordereda carne asada, birria, and a pollo taco. These tacos are the authentic small ones you would find in Mexico or a traditionalMexican restaurant. I bit into the Birria one first. The flavors from the stewed spicy beef popped in my mouth. I was dang Ishould order more. Then I bit Into the Polo one. The flavor was good, however the chicken was a little on the dry side but thefresh cilantro and onions along with their homemade hot sauce was still yummy. Next I had the carne asada and the grilled beefwas done perfectly. What's interesting is that most of the people in line spoke Spanish and the most of the menu is in Spanishso no wonder their food is awesome. Gotta love food trucks that are putting out some amazing food. After speaking to Eddie andhis wife Suzzy I found put their from Mexico and has deeps roots in cooking. Go figure right! If you truly want your taste budsto be happy, stop by this food truck as you will not regret it. Btw they also do catering. Read more
We've eaten here three times and found the food is generally OK. Having grown up in the southwest, and worked in Mexico, I'm a... bit more critical than most when it comes to Mexican food. I've found the meat in the dishes I've ordered to be tough, if notovercooked. If they are using any of the tougher cuts of meat, they need to take the time to braise them low and slow. Theflavor of our was typically good. My wife ordered shrimp dishes and she thought they were good, but she had to order extrashrimp to get enough shrimp to get what she thought was an adequate portion. Given what we paid, and the fact this place was onGuy's Diners, Drive-in's and Dives, we expected better. But I won't say the food is bad. It's just OK, but we'll probably givethem another try at some time. Maybe we ate there on off days. Read more
Los Taquitos more closely resembles Rubio's as far as pricing and quality is concerned. I would rate this place and Barrio Queen... the same because Barrio Queen is more expensive, with better quality; and Los Taquitos has better cost and worse quality. Youare able to get margaritas and tequila shots here though, so you could get intoxicated during your lunch break. Read more
Some of the most incredible street tacos i have ever consumed. Tuesdays they run a taco special! The optional red or green sauce... also compliments whatever choice of protein you decide to order for the tacos. I ordered a few pollo and pastor tacos. Thisplace is my new taco tuesday spot. Read more
Horrible service for starters. The nachos were done immediately with great presentation. After taking a few bites it tasted... awful. The chicken was cold, and the chips were stale. A refund or another option in exchange be great but the cashier attitudeis rude. Date of visit Monday July 5,2021 @ 2:41pm. Saved the receipt to talk with the manager or owner. Read more
