The food was fresh and tasty, with the exception of the mac n cheese. It was NOT fresh, and looked like the horrible gloop of... stuff you get at a poorly rated buffet. Definitely not creamy, like the giant photo they had of it, showed. The girl that tookmy order was not unfriendly, but not what I would call friendly either. Blah would be a good word. The gentleman working thedrive-thru was super nice. I think he was maybe management. My biggest complaint has to be the huge increase in their pricesfrom the last time I went. $35 for 2 fish and shrimp platters, one small soda, and a tiny piece of strawberry cheesecake?Everything is in bulk, frozen, and deep fried for goodness sakes! Pollock is not an expensive fish. And they upcharge EVERYLITTLE THING! I get inflation, but geez...a bit ridiculous of you ask me! I could have gone to a nice steakhouse for slightlymore than that.... But as it were, the fish was very crispy and so were the fries. The coleslaw was very good, and thehushpuppies delicious. Love the decor. It's amazing how this one feels like a Long John's from Maine. Downside is the food. I have had better tasting... food at other locations. Dry, oily and small portions but for some reason, higher price. Read more
Loved it. It Was super clean and Tremendously Nostalgic. They played old school music. The foo tasted just like it used to. The... fish portions were the size I remember but I can't say that about the chicken portions. The manager was very personable andthey got the food out quickly considering there were only 3 people in staff. Read more
I've been a long-time customer at the Bell road 19th Ave store. I always order the baked cod and shrimp platter. It's not on... the menu but it's definitely worth ordering it. I've become friends with the district manager over the years and couldn't behappier with the food, service, and professionalism at that store I love it. LT Read more
