So, the food is phenomenal and though the accents are heavy, and the wait is long, the customer service is friendly. The spot... is not for the faint of heart though, especially at night. This is Phoenix and it LOOKS like a dive. If you are interested inappearances, theb steer clear BUT if that hole in the wall atmosphere doesn?t bother you and you love great food, friendly anddiverse customers (I met so many cool people in line), and you don?t mind waiting a few extra minutes to get well worth the costyou paid then have your next Asian food experience at Liyuen. And ORDER AHEAD if you?re in a hurry! ???? Read more

I tried Liyuen on a whim as it was the highest rated Chinese food restaurant in the area I happened to be visiting, but I was so... happy I did! The food was delicious. The noodles and chicken I got were both amazing. And to the top it off the price for theamount of food you receive is an excellent deal. The only criticism I have have is that it takes about 15-20min from the timeyou order to get your food. As far as I can tell it's take out only, and as you can see from the picture it's not much to lookat from the outside either. It did seem like you could phone ahead and order before you arrive and I would suggest doing this ifpossible. Parking can also be tricky as it seemed to be street parking only. I highly recommend you give this to place a try ifyou have a chance. Read more

Oh my lord! Listen. This food is the entire BOMB! My daughter and I are from Florida and we are always complaining about the... lack of good local Chinese food here - I mean, not everyone likes that horrible Panda nonsense... I Googled "Best Chinese Foodin Phoenix" one day and it mapped me here. It's in a shady looking area, but when I got there the area was full of peopleordering from this restaurant (take out window style). The wait is indeed long, but boy is the food worth it. I give thisrestaurant a 9.5 out of 10 and I rarely give out 5s.... Do yourself a favor and give it a try, no way you'll be disappointed. Read more

VERY VERY GOOD! Just like NYC wing Best in Phoenix! I drove in from North Scottsdale to this place. I was a bit scepticle, it... was a hole in the wall and it looked very shady. It has a window on the side of an ally like street. You order from there andwait (very long line). But my God was the food great!!! By far the best I have had in the area. The closest I have come to NYCstyle wings and food. Amazing authentic wonton soup by far the best I have had in Phoenix, felling very satisfied after, nogreasy odd feelings after. Read more
