I love the idea of revolving sushi places. Some of the sushi you don?t know when it?s made however you can have the chefs make... you any roll. Also instead of stacking plates in front of you there?s a little trap door where you put your empty plates and itcounts how many plates you?ve had. Eat enough and you win a prize. Server was attentive which was nice. I ordered a soda fromthe screen and they have the robots bring it out. Which is cool and futuristic. However The server came to check on me beforethe drink got to me. Would?ve been a lot simpler for the server just to bring the drink over. The sushi, which I tried manydifferent rolls, had a unique funny taste to it. Read more

Food: Texas Roll, too much mayo it was gross. Smoked eel, the best one but small pieces. Inari, sweet but also really good! The... ice cream and donuts, they were good but had an interesting flavor(the syrup). The tuna, most of it was brown, not sure if Ishould've eaten it or not but I did. The fried shrimp roll was good. California Roll, absolutely GROSS, I have had way better atFrys. Spicy tuna. The beef udon, I liked the noodles. Overall, I could've gone somewhere else for the price for bettersushi. 12plates, 1dessert, 1soup. Approx $79 Service: was through a robot. Unless you asked for a person. Atmosphere: Ibelieve this place is more hype than flavor. Read more

I was in Vegas when I tried this chain for the first time and was very impressed. The Kura sushi concept is completely different... & outside of the box of your traditional conveyor belt sushi restaurant. You order on the computer in your booth, a robot bringsyour drinks, you get prizes when you insert your finished plates into the built in table dispenser, etc. The experience isamazing & it's a great place to bring your friends but read on.... I heard they opened one up here in Arizona and have beenwaiting to try it. Finally got the chance and dropped in on a Wednesday at 5pm before dinner time with a friend. The restaurantwas clean and organized but the sushi was not fresh on the conveyor belt and it looked as if it were circulating for a longtime. The fish looked very dry, stale and on the caterpillar roll the avocado was almost black. After seeing slim pickings wedecided to order from the computer directly from the kitchen. The first 3 rolls we ordered looked pre-made but had been sittingaround or in a fridge and didn't look appetizing. This was a let down for the both of us... after that the rolls started beingmade fresh in the kitchen as the dinner rush began and they appeared to be much better. The first half of our experience waskind of upsetting honestly as I had an entirely different experience from the Vegas location. I love the concept of thisrestaurant with the computer ordering/checkout/prizes, robot drink server, etc but the food needs to be thrown out if it's notgoing to be fresh, especially on the conveyor belt. Also other reviews mention the same thing. I'm hoping this place makes somechanges and provides better quality FRESH food for their customers! I'm torn on making a return to this location until there'san improvement. Read more

Kura is a nice spot to take family and friends. The dining experience is one you will not find elsewhere. Our server was Gabe,... he did an intro when we sat down and told us about how the belt and plates work. When we were ready to eat, there weren't a lotof items available on the belt so we took advantage of the convenience of the ordering machine. The food was ok. My favoritefood there is their taiyaki ice cream. The bowls of udon are rather small. There's a robot that serves the drinks as well, whichwas so cute! We got there on a Saturday at 6pm and it got a lot busier at 7pm. They do not take reservations. If you orderenough food, you get a small prize too. Read more

The experience is fun and novel, but the food is just okay. Not a big drink selection. The staff was excellent and attentive.... The sushi and entrees didn?t make much of an impression. The dessert was well worth it and very fun. I loved the tart, thesesame balls, and the red bean taiyaki. I will come back for dessert but probably won?t get the savory food again. Read more

Kura has a cool concept where a lot of the service is automated. You can order items via a touch screen and see what's in them.... Once ordered, the dish slides on over on the revolving belt to your table! A robot will also bring your drink order, but be sureto grab it fast or it will take off. ???? While I enjoyed this innovative dining experience, the sushi was good but not some ofthe best I've had. The rice wouldn't hold together, so I found myself dropping my toppings and sushi all over the place (maybejust a bad night?). Not sure if it's enough for me to come back, but I'd definitely bring friends here for the cool experience. Read more

My husband and I came here for the experience. It was amazing! The food was delicious and fresh. Love the robot delivering our... drinks. However, the wait was a killer! We got on the list around 4 and it was suppose to be an hour but turned into two hours. We didn't get in till like 6:30. But I'll say it again the food, atmosphere, the workers made it fun and we plan to come backagain! Read more
