The food is good, enough meat ???? and rice, it would be nice to have more bread, and they didn’t give you enough salad, and... you have to pay for water! I think they should provide water since the rice is kinda dry. It’s hard to eat without water! Andthe price is too much for a takeout, they charger $17 for a combo takeaway,Anne it’s ok for a nice sit down restaurant withnice service and cozy environment, but I think it’s overpriced for takeaways. Food is good. My daughter and I previously had the gyros (first time trying them) and we loved them. I noticed the salmon was... not available to order online so we went in to order at the counter (first time). A couple of people were seated/waiting and wewere informed that there were people in front of me so the wait for salmon is 20-23 minutes... Okay, no problem we had no whereto be at the time. Sure enough people came in to pick up online orders as well as counter orders and were given food first. Atthis point its still no biggie, I'm expecting the salmon to just require special prep and I'm glad about the intentionality.About 30 minutes pass. Before our food was ready, we noticed how she handed everyone else their food in their hand over thecounter and told them to have a good day and thanks for coming in. When our food was ready she called for us and just looked atus then walked away while pointing and saying, "it's right there". Very different from how other customers were handled. Foodwas good but when paired with service, it's a no for me. I'm not paying for good food that comes with treatment towards anyoneas if they're beneath them. Got the beef and chicken plates. Rice was pretty good, the best part of the plate which is sad to say. Chicken was decent but... beef was not great. Hummus was okay not bad. The salad that came with the plates was horrible and it was such a small amount. Iwould def go to pita jungle or Luna grill before coming here. For $14 dollars a piece, was not worth it. My wife and I used to really like this place until one day we came and ordered gyros. On the first bite I noticed that something... was different. I looked at the gryo meat and noticed that it was much thinner, like store bought gryo meat, than it waspreviously. The taste was not the same either. I'm not exaggerating because the gryo meat used to be thick and delicious andjuicy. Needless to say we were disappointed at the change in quality. We came back in today after months of being away due toour lack luster experience. We asked the front representative, who was very polite, if the gyro meat was prepared in therestaurant and they confirmed that the meat was indeed store bought. Not that the restaurant is disgusting but I assure you Ihave flashes of Kitchen Nightmares go through my mind (the restaurant is very clean). I could hear Gordon Ramsay saying, "Areyou kidding me?" (Insert English accent) We didn't order anything and decided to go to another location. Okay this place seriously has some of the best middle eastern food in town. I tried the kabab combo, which had 3 different types... of meat cooked with distinct spices. My absolute favorite was the tandoori chicken kabab!! It was so rich and full of flavor Icould probably have it every day. Rice was also cooked to perfection but one of the main reasons I will keep returning otherthan the tandoori kebab is their hummus. IT IS SO SO GOOD. It’s light, fluffy, and airy.. a little deviant from traditionalhummus, but I absolutely love the unique flavor. Portions are very generous for the price point and the customer service isamazing. I was a little hesitant ordering the salmon because of the previous places that I’ve tried, they’ve either been a hit or... miss (mostly miss). Where do I start? This Salmon plate from Kabab King was so good I can’t quite put into words but I’mgoing to try my best. They did take a while (15-18 mins) but it’s definitely understandable as the quality they deliveredcompensated the wait time. The rice had an aroma of saffron and tastes unlike anything I’ve ever tried, the side of hummus wasperfectly seasoned, and the salad was not bad at all! All in all, it was a great experience.
