Everything was pretty great with the food and our lovely server, but one of the other staff decided to mop the floor RIGHT in... front of our table while we were dining. The smell of the cleaning solution was not very appetizing, but at least they careabout cleanliness. Again, food was on point and server was attentive. I was genuinely surprised! I went with my brother and we just got pancakes but we were in and out within 25 minutes. Our server... memorized our order and had it ready for us in under 5 minutes. It was extremely well staffed and pretty busy too (brunch rush). Read more
My lady friend and I went in for a lunner (lunch/dinner) but had breakfast. Our omelettes for southwestern style with steak and... potatoes in them cheese on them and salsa. There was a lot of it and very tasty. I also had a side over order of two pancakeswith strawberries and banana, and a fruit cup. All very tasty and fresh! I forgot to take a picture of it when it first arrivedbut here's a photo after half devoured. Our waitress was taken care of the whole place all by herself and did a terrific job!Unfortunately I do not remember her name but she was pretty and ambitious very attentive and considerate. This means a lot sincethe place wasn't super busy but she was doing everything herself. Meaning hosting, waiting, and doing the cash register. I thinkher name was Lydia, great job gal! This was the onion ring that came on my burger burnt crispy, these are the fries that my friend got with her sandwich, french... fries are not Brown in color, they were hard and overcooked this to me was done purposely. When I spoke to the manager about ithe downplayed everything. It was as if everything was okay, no one should be served this type of food this should have neverleft the kitchen but they gave it to us because we were Black. This location is always pretty busy. Today they were very short handed. Kudos to the staff as they didn’t let it get to them.... They were courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The prices are good. The portions are the perfect size. There is a niceselection of items to choose from. I had the burrito bowl. It was good. I would return. Read more
Cute location and nothing special compared to other IHOP locations. My main complaint would be that we waited quite awhile... before a server greeted my family, and they brought the wrong syrup which wasn't a huge deal to ask again. I also tried theirnew blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes were quite disappointing without much lemon flavor at all, a skimpy amount of the ricottafilling, leaving semi dry pancakes (generally protein pancakes ARE on the dryer side, but without the toppings and flavor theyaren't worthy of another try next time). My new belly-filling destination between working and sleeping, lol! Has a cozy home feel and is slightly more spacious than some... newer IHOPs... The staff is pretty respectful some days and rude others, yet the food is cooked very well and tastes great! Ona busy restaurant night, this location looks almost closed on the outside so needless to say it is usually dead inside. Theykeep a very clean establishment with fully stocked bathrooms and well groomed employees. The classic brand has been a favoritesince I was a child, with THE FUNNY FACE PANCAKES ????????as my childhood favorite, and remains that way to this day! It reallysucks that they don't have the variety of syrup at every table like I remember ???? UPDATE: I tried to get funny facepancakes???? and the server told me that I can't order from the kids menu????, I explain that I was ordering a regular order butI would like funny face pancakes and i&ll pay more????.... ????she said no????... so NO tip then????there's my funnyface????! Half an hour wait to get a seriously messed up order. I asked for the gluten free pancakes with the berry topping added. The... waitress brought me regular pancakes. Thankfully I noticed they were not correct because I would have been outrageously sick ifI had eaten them. I asked her if they were gluten free and she told me they were not. They charged me for my orange juice and Ileft. I had my two year old with me and they wasted all the time I had to feed him. The restaurant was almost empty and theystill took half an hour for four pancakes. I would give this place no stars if it were an option. Thankfully I’m already usedto checking my food before I eat.
