We like to go for their lunch special. It can be a little pricey for an order at the counter place but the food is excellent... and staff are very friendly. We typically get takeout but decided to stay and eat. Very enjoyable atmosphere. Their Greeksalad with gyro is the best I've ever had. Read more
I was disappointed. Had just gotten off the plane and wanted Greek food before heading home. George's is expensive. The meal... doesn't come with a drink. When I tried to order a gyro salad, they tried to charge me almost 20 for a salad. A salad. Im alwayslooking for new restaurants to add to my list and this will not be one. First off, I would like to mention the quality of the food was pretty decent, so no complaints there. The big disappointment is... really related to the cost, especially related to the entree. We got a gyro and some fries for $15, which wasn?t a terribleprice, but still a little elevated with all things considered. But the Kebab entree?Geez! Came out to $26! For 2 chickenskewers, a small bed of rice and a small bowl of veggies and soup. We were expecting a ton of food for $26 but got what wouldamount to a $15 plate anywhere else. The food is fine but it was $40 for a gyro, fries and a basic entree. I know everything isgetting more expensive but if you?re looking for value and quality, look elsewhere. Read more
