I needed this meal! Fez is one of those places that I have NEVER been disappointed. I ordered so much food {but forgot to take... some pictures because I was getting drunk!} and enjoyed it ALL!!! I still remember the first time I went to Fez {not like datesand times}, it was GBF and my date night. He drove up from Tucson and was staying in Phoenix with a friend. I drove to theoriginal location off Central past Thomas {I think!}. MY GBF introduced me to the Chicken Phyllo and my mine was CHANGED!! Bestthing in my mouth! But NOW driving to the new location and sitting on the patio, during cooler weather, makes me so happy! Istill get the Chicken Phyllo no matter who is with me, I have some VeggieTale friends. But tonight I drank these delicious onhappy hour for $5 drinks along with my two-choices Fries - always Harissa and Rosemary Garlic {don’t waste these amazing frieson the ketchup-I will make you rethink your choices!}. The experience started with the service, and our waiter was engaging , personable, and attentive to our needs. The food was... good! We went in with zero expectations, as the visit was completely random. My burger, the Marrakesh, was done nicely andcooked to order. I ordered a side salad, which had amazing greens and a light dressing that was a compliment to the salad, not adrowning. We sat outside, on a Saturday afternoon, and it wasn't crowded, and the atmosphere was nice. Read more
