Bad customer service, from the start when ordering we were told it could not be ceparate bills, we were 5. The waitress said it... states that on the menu, not true on the menu it said they will charge a 15% tip if they are serving 5 or more. A 15% tip likeif they really earn it. They service the food first the tortillas latter when your food is kind of cold. At the end when we gotthe check it did not show amount per plate just the name and the total bill, when we asked for itemized bill with amounts, thewaitress give a menu, so I guess you do that part of their job yourself, but then again they charge you a 15% tip. Overall thatis not how you should treat your customers, but what do they care if other people don't mind that kind of treatment, thattreatment will not change. Read more
We had huevos rancheros and agua fresca. The food and drinks were okay. Not the best I've had but not the worst. The reason I... gave it 3 stars was because the customer service lacked significantly. Once we ordered and got our food the waitress never cameback to check on us. Read more

Happy I found this lil restaurant. My wife and I saw it while driving by and decided to stop. I looked up the pictures and it... looked authentic. We got the Tinga sope, ceviche tostada and El pastor tacos. I'm picky about El pastor tacos but these tacoswere amazing! Juicy and flavorful. The sope is huge and I could not finish it. The tostada was delicious as well. I really lovedthat they serve menudo and pozole every day, usually restaurants only serve these options on the weekend. I would put ZERO STARS. The only way it let me review if I put 1Star.I Will Never Eat At Jacal Again.. I ordered salsa and... chips I got my salsa in a mini Tashibox 2 ounce tiny disposable clear container I sat down to eat I didn't get silverware orwaitress took forever to get my order from menu . I had to leave b4 my food came. I also asked for a refill on my tea to go andthey wouldn't give me one..So I made my chicken soup to go when I got home opened up my chicken soup container I got a legmostly broth one tiny potato a few green beans and I was told I would get corn on the cob and cabbage with vegetables. I paidalmost $20 for my meal.. I was very disappointed and unsatisfied with this service and food. I used to eat there and was aregular when it used to be Maria's.. years back ago I have no idea how it has 4.3 Stars it seems that they are recycling theirfood and on a budget and it's Disgusting to think that they can recycle food that they can pick up off from table and what theycan salvage!
