Good pizza. Tasted authentic. Good cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. My order that night got mixed up somehow on one of the pizzas... and i brought home a spinach ricotta cheese pizza without looking b4 i left that was supposed 2b just cheese. I ate as much as Icould( all but 2 slice), but my family is picky and didnt mess witit. Like I said authentic flavor. Being from Long Island, I am always skeptical when an Arizona pizzeria claims to have NY pizza. Don's does! We got the meat... lover's and the white deluxe (each extra large ) and both were true NY pizzas from the very first bite down to the last crumb. We used to go to Don's pizza weekly. We cut down going as much because owner only tends to care about money. Quality wasn't the... same either, and he only gives one refill on drinks. What sealed the deal on us never going back again was that the last timewe were there I got severe food poisoning after eating a skimpy chicken parm sandwich. I couldn't even make it home. I had tostop and vomit with severe stomach cramps and non stop diarrhea. Took 30 minutes before I could go home. This pizza spot was a random standout while we were fortunately hungry in the right place. Got 4 slices of pepperoni and it was... served up quickly. So perfectly hot and crispy, thin crust like a good slice in NY. Good amount of grease but no flop if you eatin, take out might change that. Read more
