Wow has this place gone downhill. I went in for bakers and this is the second time in two weeks that they were out. Then I... ordered brisket and they tried to double the price. I ended up with the picnic for $30 and got the sliced chicken which was verydry. The biscuits were hard , no forks provided, gave me spicy bbq and specifically asked for mild sauce twice. They salted myokra and I think I asked three times for no salt. All new guys and the place was empty probably because they were not providingany real customer service. They practically did the opposite of what I asked for. They said the manager wen to the greenwaylocation. You might want to think about getting someone who really cares about repeat business. I guess I will go over to thegreenway location for a baker. They never have them here anymore. How hard is it to heat up a potato? Read more
My review is based mostly off portion sizes. I?m fine with not getting a boatload of food - I don?t expect a huge, crazy amount,... but the portion sizes here were laughable. I ordered three 3 meat platters, two of which included ribs as one of the meats-apparently, when ribs is one of the 3 meats, they give you exactly ONE rib ???? The other meat portions were small, as well, butthe one rib is just hilarious. The sides are super small, too, fyi. If you?re going to order from here, make sure to orderdouble what you think you?re going need, I guess. Taste-wise everything was really good, especially the spinach, pulled pork,and brisket. Food is good but service is rough. Wait is long as well. Ordered online 15 minutes prior, still waited another 15 min when I... arrived. And they forgot the BBQ sauce. Location is convenient and there aren't a lot of decent BBQ joints in the Metro areaso this is the best option around. Read more
Placed online order at 5:42pm Sunday. App stated it would be ready at 6:15. Arrived at 6:12....to an array of customers waiting... for their orders. Two of the staff was working hard on fulfilling orders while the manager wondered at a leisurely pace withoutany sense of direction to the staff or helping in any way. At 6:32 the young gentleman approached myself to inform me that theydidn't have enough Mac and cheese to complete my order and offered other sides. Finally completing my order an hour after Iplaced it. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, not as hot as I would have liked, but good. Poorly managed staff, both times Isaw who I could only assume was the manager, she came from the back still chewing something. Absolutely no sense of urgency orcustomer service from management. It was just okay. I have a somewhat sensitive stomach and halfway through, I had to stop eating and run to the bathroom. I had... the two meat combo. It comes with your choice of two meats and your choice of two sides. I chose the ribs and brisket. TheBrisket was supposed to be "sliced". It doesn't look like it's sliced- it isn't!
