Ordered takeout on a Saturday afternoon. Place was dead maybe 2 tables of people eating a late lunch. Food was done in a timely... matter approx 20 mins from ordering. Unfortunately the food did not live up to the expectations and the other reviews I haveseen. Ordered egg drop soup to start, it was ok a little flavorless and wish it had a little garnish or something. I also gotthe Chicken Lettuce Wraps Or Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps and was extremely disappointed. Was very wet and soggy and had a bunch ofpeas in it. Never have I ever gotten regular green peas in a lettuce wrap. Vegetarian fried rice was lackluster as well. Hadabsolutely no flavor and the same dreaded frozen bag of peas and carrots with an overwhelming amount of beansprouts. Overalldisappointed and left with a flavorless ( seriously no salt or pepper ??) oily lunch. Read more
I've yet to have negative experience at Desert Jade. It's family owned and they are very friendly and attentive to their guest.... The food is fantastic and wort the price ????, and the portions are healthy!! I LOVE that if your a spicy eater they will adjustthe level of "heat" of your dish to your liking ????. Tonight was our first time trying this restaurant after hearing over the years how good the food is. THEY WERE WRONG. I can't... describe exactly HOW it was bad.... but it was really not good. Bland/unseasoned chicken and watered down soup just don't do itfor me. We couldn't eat most of our meals. Will not be trying again. Read more
Whoever drives this vehicle needs to be submitted for a medical review. If you know the old man who drives this car, please... report him. He almost killed me a few days ago driving. He jumped in front of me when I was going over 55 mph and did not speedup. I blared my horn and he acted like he didn?t hear or see a thing. He should not be driving on the road. And he needs ahandicap sign. I called the DMV and reported him with no luck but I should have called the police when it happened! He eitherowns this establishment or works here and I need his name to report him. But he can barely walk and I saw him blowing leaves inthe parking lot. This happened early AM a few mornings ago. Definitely worth a visit. Plenty of options on the menu. Lunch specials are excellent. Staff was friendly and courteous. Hot tea... served immediately after seated. Such a nice compliment. Read more
Sat down for a nice lunch in this little place - a cozy, quiet and clean place on 32nd & Indian School. I had the Shrimp and... Snow Peas lunch combination. It was quite tasty and a nice portion size for the money. The staff were friendly and attentive. Read more
