Daawat has delicious authentic South Indian Indian food! Such a pleasure to enjoy authentic and tasty South Indian cuisine and... reasonably priced. It's clean, and feels more like a family place as it's made by an Indian family which we deeply enjoyed. Theplace itself while not fancy, is more of a rustic, home kitchen feel. It's quite lovely. This is almost a bygone treasure in thesea of corporate American food franchises. I highly recommend Daawat especially for their personal home kitchen touches andtheir vegetarian options. We ordered Masala Dosa and Chana Masala, both were excellent dishes. May they continue to prosper andbe the lovely jewel that they are. Read more

Have had good experiences in the past, however that has changed recently. First of those experiences, matar paneer was greasy... and had no flavor. Second experience they cancelled my order immediately on placement and would not answer my calls. I ammoving to different restaurants after these experiences, for a hole in the wall they need improvement. Read more

Request management to use good quality ingredients. Biriyani was too greasy and not up to the mark. Menu is over priced and... dishes aren't authentic. Please maintain cleanliness and provide good hygiene environment to eat. Read more

While the food was like home cooked, plenty of it and good if a little salty, the service was minimal, there was a sticky film... covering surfaces that was disturbing. I know prices have gone up in the last year and menu prices don't always match what'scharged but we paid $70+ for something that by calculating menu prices should have been $50 ish. They advertised lunch specialsbut nothing was on display nor was it mentioned by the counter person. We'll be trying other restaurants with Indian Cuisine infuture. Read more

Though a questionable establishment to get food at, Daawat Indian Cuisine offers a wide array of delicious food. It is well made... and priced fairly. I would have no problem revisiting. My only gripe would be of the rustic atmosphere. Read more
