Really good food and an excellent staff. It's also a Cornhusker bar and has simulcast so you can't go wrong with Connolly's.
Ordered a burger and fries the bread was almost burnt the lettuce was soggy my beer glass was dirty I could not keep the flies... in there away from my food. There was no flavor to the burger the fries , let's just say I stopped eating them after 4 superhard stuck together. Would not recommend the food. Beer was good. Read more
I hope I'm not spoiling the secret as I love being able to be seated right aways, but I'm always surprised at how empty the... dining section of this restaurant is (bar is usually pretty full). The food is excellent, the service is great, and the pricesare reasonable. Read more
My husband and I are currently in search of our neighborhood bar where we can have our weekly date night. This place totally... fits the bill and we will be back, for sure. Connelly's allows for very little light to shine through...it is verydark....definitely reminds me of a vegas type place where when you leave, you have no idea what time of day it is. The bat haspool tables and a modern juke box, a place to watch horse racing, and a large bar with surrounding high top tables. Ourwaitress was Gina and she was super attentive. Gave us great whiskey and food recommendations. We had jalapeño poppers, I hadan ahi tuna salad and hubbs had a chicken sandwich; we were totally blown away by how delicious the food is. Seriously! They donot serve "bar food". Next time you pass on Carefree highway, stop here. Ditch all of your preconceived ideas and enjoy a colddrink and a good meal. Read more

We love this place!! Excellent Irish grub and beer. Kid friendly and loud, so easy to bring my 3 year old. Plus their kid menu... is generous - enormous Mac and cheese, chocolate milk, etc. I love their rib eye cheddar melt, burgers, French dip. Sweet potatofries are waffle cut and amazing.
