A quick take out. The best fried chicken, I come from Massachusetts we don't have Church's, it is so good, beats Popeye's & KFC.... I do miss the honey packs though, Church's is what got me to put honey on my chicken. I enjoyed Church's the first night of myyearly month long visit, I will most likely have it on my last night in AZ. Get some chicken you go back again. Wish we hadChurch's closer to my home. The mashed potatoes are definitely the reason I come here. Next to their honey bread and jalapeños. I enjoy their tenders more... than their actual chicken thighs and drums. I know I know, it's what they're known for but a couple of times now the chicken hasbeen soggy (even when we sit inside and eat) I don't know why. Read more
Very disappointed. I'm not sure if the chicken was over done or old but eating it was not a favorable experience. The mac n... cheese was not to my liking either. After a long day at work I was looking forward to some good ol fried chicken for dinner. Ipass Church's daily coming home from work. So today I thought I'd try out this location. My decision was a bad choice. They overcharged me too. The stop here was something I won't do again. I didn't see any mature adults working only kids. I ordered a chicken thigh, biscuit, and mac n cheese. I won't be going back. The food was awful! The moment I bit into the... chicken, I instantly tasted old nasty grease! The chicken itself wasn't overly greasy. The TASTE of the chicken was that of veryold, very nasty grease. The mac n cheese was waaaaaay over cooked and biscuit was extremely light in color. The food was good but while we were ordering two men walked in holding a dog and getting dog hair everywhere and after we... ordered they walked up to the counter and were petting the dog and u could see the dog hair in the air and on the counter. Whenthey brought our food it sat right where all the dog hair was. No one that worked there said a word. I understand if it wouldhave been a service dog and I am an animal lover, but a restaurant is no place for a pet and if it was a service Chihuahua thenit belonged on the floor but I don't think it was one because they had it in their arms and it was barking and everything else. Any service animals I have seen are well behaved and walk aside the person they are helping. Leave your dog home if you arestopping to eat. Ridiculous. I love animals but there are some places they don't belong...like around my food. Someone shouldhave made them take the dog outside that is why the low rating. There are regulations that prevent this kind of thing and therestaurant didn't do anything. There were two guys they could have had one wait outside while the other ordered. I am sick ofpeople bringing their pets on restaurants and stores. They don't belong there. I don't like knowing your dog has sniffed themeat I am getting ready to buy. Bought two chicken tender specials. The chicken was more like jerky and very small. There was to be a biscuit with the order but... there wasn't. This use to be a good place to eat. What the h... happened? The service crew was more interested in talking njoking around the serving the customers. I know there were at least 6 in the kitchen area. Read more
Chicken s are a little skinny but flavor is great. Okra needs to be cooked about 15 seconds less so they are not so dark. Love... churches above all other places. Read more
