The place is really dirty. The food is stale and old. The guac was completely brown so I didn?t bother getting any. Cross... contamination, meat in the other food, there was no attempt to keep food line separated and neat. Most of the drinks were emptyand the empty lemonade. Read more

Let me start with this: The Food is fairly decent. I don't have many problems with it. The salsa had a good spice with nice... undertones of organic vegetable flavor, and the chips a nice airy crunch. The burrito was alright, good heavy meat and somepinto beans inside with it. The lettuce really complimented the flavor, making it feel balanced. My main issues are that theMeat was a bit too greasy, it somewhat made my stomach feel uncomfortable. Taco Tuesday, being my first time I didn't know what I was ordering. She offered me 6 or so different types of meat. I chose 2... grilled chicken and 1 shredded beef. The salsa is my own because everything besides the lettuce and pico was extra. When I paidit was more than expected so I look at the receipt and they charged $.50 for grilled chicken, would have been nice to know fromthe start however this would have prevented me from ordering it. The grilled chicken is by far better than the shredded beef.The beef has so much juice my taco is soggy and falling apart. Other than them trying to charge for everything its pretty tasty. Read more
Ordered from doordash. Purchased the double taco meal, paying an additional $3 for extra meat, and the tacos were practically... empty (the tacos hardly had a normal amount of meat, much less $15.23's worth). My wife ordered the tostada with the creamytomatillo dressing, and the dressing was not included. No utensils included either. We both love the food from Cafe Rio but thisis not a good business practice. Read more
Amazing burritos!! The shells are soft and warm and the meat is delicious!! Huge portions. The horchata and mint limeade is... definitely worth getting a drink! I order the salad, eat 2/3 of it, then wrap it in the shell. This is a fantastic fresh, prettyhealthy, but stellar burrito joint!! Wish they would come to Iowa!! ???? Read more
I'm glad I got take out because I was excited to eat there. But I gave it two stars because the older lady didn't get her name... was either having a bad night or somethin but she was rude for no reason. She was working the register and bagged chips and Iasked chips and salsa please she was like " gotta go talk to her " in the rudest tone. Instead of saying "okay ill get that foryou" or something more polite considering I don't know how that restaurant operates since it was my first time eating cafe rioand I've worked as a waitress so I know even though I had a bad night I still put on a smile so I can get a tip at least. Thefood was okay. My quesdilla got super soggy and fell apart and i couldn't break it apart to eat, the rice was definitely notcooked all the way. Read more
