We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed every visit. The one exception was today. We arrived right at 4pm, when they... opened. We were literally the first customers. We ordered our drinks and a 14" deep dish pie with pepperoni and Canadian baconat 4:05pm. We sat there and watched people come in, order, eat and leave before we received our food. Our food finally arrivedat 4:55pm! The pizza was severely burnt on the bottom, which completely ruined the dining experience. I thought aboutcomplaining about the quality of food but didn't want to sit there another hour, waiting for another pie as we had plans at6pm. I don't think I'll be back to Vero pizza. I was looking forward to Chicago style pizza for a couple of months and finallygot the opportunity to go, only to face utter disappointment. First time. Visiting the area from PA and ordered a Loop Pizza on their buttery pan crust and an Italian Beef sub. Pizza crust... was crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Cooked to perfection. If cheese is gold in the pizza industry thenthis should've been priced higher because it was great cheese. Italian beef was delicious with hot giardiniera pepper and adelicious jus. Let me buddy know we'd be back for more when we're in town. Staff was welcoming and helpful! Read more

One word.....WOW!! We have tried Lou Manaltis and thought that place was mediocre at best. Decided to give this place a try and... was blown away. The customer service is over the top and the food..........was delicious!! Will definitely be back here withfriends!!! Hope they open one up in Laveen!!! Read more
This is the second time we stopped by at this place and had their pasta with meatballs and then Italian sandwich with salad and... onion rings. Food is made fresh and service was fast. The staff are very pleasant kids. The whole experience was amazing anddefinitely recommended this place to others. Read more
Lively Chicago pizza bar with good food and a friendly atmosphere. Like any authentic pizzeria ordering the deep dish will sign... you up for a 30 min+ wait, but when it comes out it's worth it!! If you're looking for something faster but still tasty theyhave plenty of thin crusts (though it might mean you're a New Yorker). Read more
