Unprofessional and possibly fraudulent conduct. I never had any problems with my shoes for bowling and was told they were fine... before. I believed that was true and said I did not need to rent shoes. The workers did not inspect shoes up front to make surethey were okay. I finish my first game, and a manager person (middle age guy with glasses, name Matt) comes up to my lane andtells me I need to rent shoes. I go up to close my tab after I finished my game (not starting another game), and I was chargedfor shoes I never rented. The service was never rendered and I was charged. Bowlero Mayo Blvd is very unprofessional for notinspecting for shoes up front, and letting me know after the game, and then charging for them despite me never even touchingthem. This is dangerous, unprofessional, and even fraudulent. I called Bowlero and spoke with Matt. He told me someone told meI needed shoes, which there was no inspection, and I just walked right in and started bowling, as there was no inspection and Ibelieved my shoes were fine. After my first and last game with no bowling shoes, I was charged for shoes I never received ortouched for my first game, effectively being told "I should have known better". I felt like I was being called a liar, eventhough Matt said he was not calling me a liar. This Bowlero needs to inspect shoes up front before telling people they needbowling shoes, and should charge people when they actually touch and use the shoes, otherwise the service is notrendered. Everyone, even if you think you have bowling shoes, please ask for an inspection of your shoes before playing a game,as you may get charged for shoes even if you play a game without them and never use them. Find out if your shoes work before youcommit to play. You may also get injured. Read more

This place is nice but wildly overpriced for my particular liking. It took a long time to receive 2 shots and 2 drinks from the... bar. The arcade games are fun, but again very pricey. If you're looking for family fun at a reasonable cost...this isn't it.If money is no object, then this place would be for you. For myself, my wife and my daughter with 2 games of bowling, 8-10arcade games and 4 drinks we spent over $120. Hope this helps! Read more

Waxed lanes!! Good fun for everyone with pretty good food. Arcade is a little lackluster but I doubt anyone's going just for... that. Biggest problem is the lack of light on the lanes, I cannot see the alignment marks. All in all a great place. Read more

Here at this location it provides fun games; plenty of bowling lanes for family, friends, and if you're looking for fun by... yourself. I really enjoyed the staff and service here. Read more

First the good? The place is clean and modern. Atmosphere is very nice. It?s always fun to go bowling. Now the bad? Upon... arriving at our lane, we immediately tried to order food, as we were all starving. Unfortunately the kiosk would not accept anycredit/debit cards that we tried throwing at it. I pressed the button to request for help. Ten minutes later, still no help. Wewent and tracked down a server. They said they?d be right over, but never came. We finally realized there was a QR code on asign at the lane that allowed you to order food and drinks through your phone. Their interface on the web app is terrible, andit took several tries to add things to the cart because the web app was not very responsive. Thankfully the web app allowedpayment via Apple Pay. Finally, 7 frames into our first game, we starting receiving our food and drinks. I explained the issuesto the server at that time, and she was very friendly and responsive thereafter. Another complaint that I have is that both thekiosk and the web app automatically add an 18% service charge to your order. That?s fine, whatever; but what really gets me isthat the next screen wants you to add an additional tip with the default options starting at 18% and going up to 22%. So, if youweren?t paying attention to the subtotal screen and missed the automatic service charge, then you add a normal tip of 20%, you?dbe paying almost 40% in service charges / tips. Not to mention that the service literally only includes running food and theoccasional drink refills since you?re the one placing the order and processing your payment. I mainly tried this place becauseI wanted something nicer than the typical, dingy old bowling alley, but I?m not sure that I?ll be back after this experience. Read more
