What an experience! We went here per the ratings and it didn't disappoint. Our waitress, Guadalupe, was amazing, and I say... amazing because excellent service has become hard to find these days-- her cheerfulness and professionalism was refreshing. Youcan tell she understands hospitality and what it means to be on the other end. For example, she engaged with us, asked what typeof sauces we liked, and further briefly educated us with sauces and dish styles. In short, receiving customer service that mayseem or ought to be standard is becoming rare. For that, I thank Guadalupe for being the best waitress she can be. Craving Ceviche had to try this Spot by my work. Tina the initial contact advised 1 hour wait and maybe a spot by the bar.no... such luck. Later, After waiting 30min on my in person reservation. I called in for carryout and Spoke to Serena who got my foodready in15min and comped a small tea.Later when waiting Tina told me I should have come earlier.. Food looks amazing and I betis delicious. Very cute place in downtown. Delicious food, & server was very attentive. It did take a while for the food to come out, so i ate... a lot of tostadas (chips) before the food. But since the food was really good, i ate all of it even though i was full ???? onething i will say though is that the chili powder that they put on the rim of the margarita was more like a spice for food,definitely wasn’t Tajin or anything like it Place really exceeded my expectations. First of all, Aj is the man!!! Best waiter ever! I was so excited to try this place & it did not disappoint. Food was pretty... good!! We were able to go during happy hour & grab some of their happy hour tacos & their frozen margarita. All I can say is wow!! It was my first time in Phoenix and this place left a great impression of the area. I loved everything... about this restaurant, it had outdoor seating with mist spraying machines for the heat, beautifully decorated, nice full bar,and the food was dinger licking good. I had the Short Rib Machaca Enchiladas, Brown sugar Caramel Flan, and I can't rememberwhich drink I had. I wish I had a second stomach so I could've ordered more enchiladas!! Flan is my favorite dessert ever andthey did NOT disappoint with their brown sugar caramel version. Will be returning for sureeee!! Read more
Although a more casual restaurant and atmosphere, the service, food, and beverage program is to notch. The restaurant has a nice... open dining room with a large bar. They have some very nice tequila and I was fortunate enough to pick the Codigo 1530 flightand it was amazing. I will have to try some of the other recommended flights in the future. The selection of Mexican dishes isnot extensive but well chosen and with some nice twists. The tortilla chips were tasty with nice salsa and the tacos were alsoexcellent. I've been to this restaurant on several occasions and really enjoy the atmosphere. It's within walking distance of the Footprint... Arena. On this occasion, we had a fairly large party, and our server, Gabriel, was one of the best, extremely gracious, andaccommodating. Not totally 5-star dining, but definitely top notch Mexican menu items. The drinks are really pleasing andperfectly mixed. It's definitely a downtown favorite. Read more
Blanco Cocina….the best Restaurant around here, all the staff are very friendly especially my server Trent we don’t have... enough words for him he’s the best person,we had veggie fajitas and Nacho platter, freshly made food that tasted amazing,clean Restaurant that was well maintained,they have outside sitting available as well as a great bar that had indoor and outdoorseating.
