The food was amazing and authentic. The fresh guacamole was the best I?ve had. Great side sauces for the chips. The Cesina was... incredible and very tasty. My wife loved the Recalentado. Drinks were very good as well. Incredible atmosphere and very clean.Staff were hospitable and helpful. If I lived in the area I would frequent this wonderful gem. My wife and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary here and had a fantastic time!! Our server, Irbin (sp?), was excellent in all... his recommendations and drinks. My wife said the Sangria was the best she ever had, and the appetizers of Crepa de Camaron andlater Mole Poblana and Cochinita Pibil paired off with the Queso Fundido were top notch. Our entrees of Carne Tampiquena andFilete Chipotle were great!! We wrapped up our night with a dessert of Crepa de Cajeta. While enjoying all of this great food, the overall ambience and live guitar music during our meal put a nice capstone on the night and our 31 years together!! ThankYou Asi Es La Vida for a wonderful evening!! Read more

This was good!! Another random selection that really worked! We made reservations (they weren't needed) and made our way over.... The parking lot is small, but easily navigated by a full size SUV. The entrance is so casual, that it didn't seem like we werein the right place. When you turn that corner, it opens up into an intimate space that is softly illuminated, and the air isfilled with a serenade of a . The food was amazing, to say the least, and it illustrated the clear difference between them andtheir competitors. This place is worth multiple visits to sample the entire menu! Read more

Amazing is the perfect word for this restaurant. Our server was AMAZING. She knew the menu inside and out. She gave great... recommendations for drinks and the chefs special. Live music is playing in the background with the amazing artwork of Frida. Thedishes that are being served had so much flavor, and you wanted more. Delicious, flavorful desserts that you must try as well.So bring your appetite you won't regret it. Read more

I made reservations for Valentine?s Day and they seemed to be over booked. We arrived early and the only table available was in... the back room. Upon being seated we realized it was very cramped and didn?t have the same attention to detail as the front roomlike roses and decor. The chair I initially sat in was very uneven and rocked back and forth. The menu was very limited and $75a person. No cocktails were listed on the menu and upon asking for drinks they only recommend margaritas and sangria (which Ilater found out are only $6 a drink). The margarita was watery but the sangria was good. The service was attentive and the foodcame out quickly. The soups were a little on the bland side but the main dishes were tasty. Overall is was not worth the priceper person. This was our first time dining here and I wish we didn?t go on Valentine?s Day. The limited menu and crampedenvironment didn?t make for a romantic evening. It was loud and the night felt rushed. Perhaps their full menu would be a betterexperience. Read more

Stopped here over the weekend. Have drove past and always wanted to try this place. Our server was very friendly and attentive.... We each had 2-3 drinks and ordered dinner. 2 of us got the ropa vieja and chicken tinga combo and the other the single ropavieja. Overall the food was pretty good, but the chicken tinga was a little bland/missing some flavor. We did however enjoy theropa vieja, the drinks, and the service. We also started with the guac (not pictured) Read more

Holy mole this restaurant is a hidden gem! We visited on a Saturday night and entered through their shady looking back door,... walked down a narrow hallway and thought we may have been in the wrong place. Don't worry! You'll be greeted by a surprisinglyvibrant and welcoming staff and bright ambiance just on the other side. We had the chef special and the sampler appetizer toshare and they both were excellent. The traditional mole and mole verde were some of the best we've had. The setting with livemusic was a great touch and not too loud. Would recommend for a date night or a relaxing dinner with friends.
