Had the opportunity to try the new pizza place at Desert Ridge Marketplace. Their new location is nicely designed with big open... space and clean design. There is a long bar that wraps around to the patio outside. The menu is mostly pizza, slices and whole, with some creative options as well as traditional pies. For comparison purposes, we ordered a straight-up cheese pizza withItalian sausage. The pizza was excellent - and I don't say that often about pizza here in Phoenix. Crispy, somewhat thin, crustperfectly cooked. The sauce was simple and a great pairing to their choice of cheese blend. It was a step above a typical NYstreet pie, and pricy. Our 16" one topping (sausage) pizza was $31.00! That's steep for pizza. We've had plenty of comparablepies for half that price. They are brand new (open one week) and still working out some of the kinks. It's a nice atmosphere andworth a visit. Great happy hour options. Read more
