Great hushpuppies on happy hour and a delicious shrimp poor bo make this place very good.
3 time here I love it!! Love the way everything tastes soo good and is super hot! They are very accommodating and the servers... are always attentive. Wait time for food is minimal. I've lived in the area one street north for 5+ yrs and just found out this spot was here. I'm glad I did. I immediately noticed... how clean it was, and the entire staff was smiling and friendly (I knew right away it was going to be a good experience). Itwasn't busy so we got seated right away. Megan was our server and she was awesome. Very friendly and explained the menu to ussince it was our first time. We started with the calamari. It was in strips which is different than what I'm used to but theywere thick and delicious. Just the right amount of batter. We also ordered the soft shell crab and Alligator. The soft shellcrab was cooked perfectly and the sweet potato fries were a great pairing for it. The Alligator was also cooked well with theright amount of batter. It tasted great and wasn't too chewy like at other places I've tried it. The portions were moregenerous than I was expecting and we ended up getting boxes to bring some home, which is perfectly fine with me! Megan stoppedby numerous times to check on us and seemed genuinely happy to answer any questions we had. The food was wonderful and thestaff being top notch and so friendly really sealed the deal for us! Overall we had a wonderful experience and I woulddefinitely recommend this N. Very cute concept. But so many things are just so bad. I ordered the Snow Crab which had no crab. The bathrooms were extremely... dirty. The server didn?t explain anything. Very expensive for junk. Read more
We loved it! The whole experience was fun and the food was delicious! Loved it ! We ordered the mixed shack bag which serves for... two. It was juicy and flavorful. Also the service provided by Meghan was extraordinary. Since this was our first time at Angrycrab shack we weren't very familiar with the tools. Meghan demonstrated it for us with lots of enthusiasm. I wanted to treat my boyfriend to his first crab feast and was not disappointed! The food was fantastic and drinks were super... tasty! We couldn?t help but notice the table next to us was a family who were blind and I have to say that their server wasfantastic- he helped guide each of them to the washroom with a hand on his shoulder and another server even offered to treattheir little one to touching a lobster for the first time. We were really charmed by how sweet the staff was, and would highlyrecommend. I also want to add that the supplied gloves and scissors were an unexpected and super awesome addition. If you get the seafood boil, try the head off shrimp and/or the blue mussels!! The best flavor is Trifecta. Anything over 3 is... too spicy...trust me! I was raised on hot sauce. Stick with a 2 if you like spice but still want flavor! Add a potato, somecorn, and some sausage and you are good to go! They also have chicken strips for those who don't like seafood. Read more
