On 10/31/22 at approximately 10:10am, I encountered a cashier today at store #159 (44th and Camelback). The cashier stated Good... Morning. I then said Good Morning back. The employee name Matt then vocally expressed out loud to me and others around that hedidn?t know whether to say Good Morning Ma?am, or Sir to me. This comment could have been kept to himself and not been vocal.This is very disturbing and embarrassing. I find it very offensive and sexist. It?s 2022! things like this should not behappening to which companies think this is acceptable. We have people who are going through identity issues, and this commentcould?ve push them to the edge. I could?ve been a transgender for all this employee knows. Please keep harsh comment toyourself. I?m currently waiting for a call back from corporate. Unfortunately while trying to purchase one item with 3 available lanes and 2 open with no customers the 2 Caucasian cashiers did... not want to greet or assist me. I had to wait in the 3 unavailable line. ???? as I waited in line, 2 Caucasian customersapproached the lines and were immediately greeted by the same staff that didn?t want to give me service. Some of the food is excellent. You can find hard to find items there. Since the pandemic they've been very short staffed and... it's hard to get any customer service. Food is overpriced. Read more
This is one of those very very fancy grocery stores that is just a beautiful place to visit. Would not recommend shopping here... unless you?re going for the experience and plan to spend over $20 for one or two small things but overall a good experience tovisit. Do NOT recommend the goat milk yogurt. Read more
Very disappointed with this AJs location. I came in Tuesday 4/12 to order a cake for my wife?s birthday 4/14. Filled the form,... ordered it and came back Thursday 4/14 but they didn?t have the cake. 30 minutes later find out They just didn?t prepare it. Iappreciate them giving me a different cake for free but at the end of the day it?s slim pickings for the cakes no one wanted.Plus it didn?t come out very nice. I come often but unfortunately can?t rely on them for future events. Read more
The store is clean and the presentation is really beautiful but they are overpriced and don?t offer much variety. The lines... for deli iced tea/bagels is long which would be acceptable if they had enough people working the counter. Read more
This review is solely based on the floral department. We ran in to grab some flowers and the lady (Lisa Davis) that worked there... was so incredibly friendly and helpful. She ended up putting together a bouquet within our price range. Thanks Lisa!! You put asmile on our face and your kindness meant more than I will ever be able to express. Read more
Visit the bakery or deli for an iced tea! The blackberry jasmine green tea is the best. The salad bar is a great option for... lunch. Read more
