Waited for some one to come out the kitchen to take my order, I could see them from the front bar and I had just tried to enter... from the wrong door and been redirected so she should have known I would be coming in the streetside door..anyways sat on barstool and watched the two women in the kitchen talking to eachother and ignore me as minutes ticked away. Several men wereseated in the dining room/bar area. I felt like I had wandered into a strangers living room and invisible ? Finally I calledthe resturant that I was in to get thier attention and a woman came out the kitchen to answer the phone by the counter. I hungup my phone and told her it was me calling and I wanted to order somem food. Go figure they didnt have the beef samosasadvertised. By now I dont want their food anyways. It did smell like the were cooking something good back there but the lack ofhospitality is making this a no for me Read more

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I ordered lamb with Rice and enjera. They gave 95% lamb fat and 5% meat. The rice was very dry and... the enjera tasted like a dry piece of tortilla. It also took them an hour to cook this mess. I am a Foodie that goes around tofind the best spot from Phoenix to Sun City. I will not recommend this place and will never go back again! By the way theycharged me $20 for the bad food! Read more

We have been to other Ethiopian restaurants and have had better food. The injera was dry and absorbed much of the liquid in the... food so it fell apart. We will not come back to this particular restaurant. Read more

Definitely not a go-to place for dinner. The batter has turned sour yet they served the food and was not edible. Please do not... serve food like this and spoil the Ethiopian traditional name. Would give 0 stars but no other option, so 1 star. Read more

What they get right: The food is fantastic. I tried the Veggie Combo and the Sambuso, 2 meat (beef) & 2 veggie (lentils), and... they were very satisfying. You use this bread, that kinda looks like a pancake but with a softer texture, to pick out the itemson a plate of the same bread and eat what you are craving. The tea is also enjoyable. What they get wrong: Where is theparking? If I wasn't looking for this place I might have missed it. You have to park in the back and enter the restaurant in theback. It's warm in that place. I checked the temperature, and it was 85 degrees. The lights for the bathrooms were dim. What'sokay: Restrooms were not pristine but not dirty. Restaurant set up feels confusing. Results: Eat the food, especially try theSambusos (Only $.99 cents each and they are delicious), but spare yourself the oppressive temperature inside and the lack ofseating space by ordering your meal to go. And tip your server well; my server when I asked if tips go to the server or to thehouse said that the only get paid with tips (Isn't that illegal?). Read more
