Reviews for Toulouse Vineyards & Winery in Philo, CA
An awesome non-pretentious dog friendly winery in the Anderson Valley! The staff is welcoming (especially the golden retriever... at the entrance), the wine is very tasty, and the views are great. They?re known for their pinot noir but everything else isvery good too. You can also pick up cheese and crackers at lemons market and then snack while you taste! Would definitelyrecommend! Read more
Our visit to Toulouse Winery was a pleasure, in spite of the fact that we discovered a flat tire after our tasting. All of the... wines we tasted were delicious (the Riesling was our favorite), but what really made the experience special was the lovely viewfrom the deck and the friendly staff. In fact, the winery owner and vineyard manager helped us fix our flat tire! Read more
Beautiful location! Great Pinot! If you?re in the Anderson Valley, this should be on your list of stops. Erica is a... knowledgeable and gracious host. The grounds and deck are perfect for sitting back and enjoying their selection of wines. Read more
Extremely accommodating! They seated us with no advanced notice. The grounds are lovey and the deck seating is very enjoyable.... Very good wines and extremely affordable for such a low production winery - we especially enjoyed the whites. Five stars toLarissa, our tasting room host, for making such an enjoyable experience. I have a great time...views are fantastic, wine is delicious, owner's and staff are the best at what they do
We visited around 1230 on a Friday and it wasn't super busy luckily. Larisa and Erica were super friendly and nothing about the... experience felt like a transaction. We especially loved talking to Larisa because she was easy to talk to and it wasn't strictlyabout wine. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone else who likes a smaller, low-key winery. We will beback! :) Read more
At the risk of letting more people know how great the wine is here I leave this review. Not only does Vern create my favorite... Pinot, but he has managed to consistently find great people to help him create great experiences enjoying his wine that put wine2-3x the price to shame. Leave it to a retired Fire Fighter to take care of people and create an environment that allows you toappreciate his ability to do the simple things well and create a product that leaps over his ?high end? local competitors at aprice that is attainable to the average person. We?ve been members for 5+ years and recently relocated. We were greeted with theattached gift when we opened our latest case purchase/investment and we couldn?t be more pleased to be a member of the Toulousefamily. Read more
Just follow the geese to this amazing winery. Be careful, even with the geese you might miss the gated entrance. All worth it... once you climb the steep driveway and arrive at the tasting room on the hill. The views are stunning and the wine isdelicious. Pinots for days and also other spirits. The staff is always friendly and their members get good deals oncases. Highly recommended! Ps. Make a reservation first. Read more
