Reviews for Lula Cellars in Philo, CA
We stopped by Lula Cellars on our way back from the coast. Since we had a long trip back home, we decided to pick one winery in... Anderson Valley and purchase a couple of bottles without tasting. Lula Cellars couldn\'t have been more accommodating and helpedus with our selection (2021 Gewürztraminer and their 2019 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir). So far we\'ve had the Pinot, which isexcellent, and we look forward to drinking the Gewürztraminer. Read more

Great service and wine! They were very dog friendly and brought out treats and water for our dog. The staff were very friendly.... It\'s a great down to earth place to drink good wine. $10 tasting free is waived if you buy a bottle. Read more
Coming back from the Mendocino coast, I knew I wanted to stop along Hwy 128 at a winery or two to check out the Anderson Valley... wine region. We couldn’t have made a better choice than Lula! Dan and our host Kim were so warm and welcoming. I’ve been toa lot of wineries and it’s that friendly spirit that really makes wine tasting so enjoyable, and this is an experience I’llremember as one of the best! We really enjoyed the wine itself, too, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality ofwine. The property was also lovely and Kepler kept us entertained. Any wonder we joined the wine club on a whim! We made oneadditional winery stop before heading home, and while the wines were also tasty the experience didn’t even compare. Read more

We come here every time we come to Boonville (once a month). The Lula team is amazing, the wine even better.\n\nHospitality:... kind, welcoming, knowledgable and willing to help you learn or just drink for fun (never pretentious).\n\nWine: delicious,well-made, variety of \"drink now\" and \"shelf for a bit\" wines. Tasting changes regularly so you get a \"surprise anddelight\" now and then.\n\nWe cannot wait to see what they come up with next! (Fingers crossed for live concerts!)\n\nWe leavehere filled with joy, wine, and plenty to talk about on the way home/hotel. Read more
Nice Anderson Valley winery. It\'s not the easiest to get to (far end of the valley) but worth the drive. Loved the rose\'. ... Super friendly staff. We went following the White Wine festival so they were offering paella which made the morning stop allthe better. We\'ve been to Lula twice now, and always leave with a bottle or 2. Read more
This is an awesome wine tasting experience. Dan, the punctually pudgy salesman, provided a fun and informative tasting. His meal... pairings sound incredible and ask about walking to the top of the winery for a beautiful view of the neighboring vineyards. Theyhad the best Rose of Pinot Noir of the day and we finished the Bruntly with a great pizza that night! Read more
