Reviews for Hogs Galore in Philipsburg, PA
I have been there years ago. Still surprised the place still in business. I enjoyed pulled pork sandwich.
The fries, plain were the best. The Hillbilly Fries were ok, especially with all that pork. Maybe a little less pork next time.... I thought there was going to be some sort of sauce on top, like more BBQ or aioli and maybe some cheese too. Same goes for theloaded fries. I was expecting green onions and some type of sauce. I did put ranch on top, but it wasn't enough. The chickenfingers were way over done. We actually got sick from them. As for the Philly and sausage, I was expecting a little more. Theycall it a sandwich, but it doesn't present like a sandwich. I would have like possibly mushrooms and a bigger bun, some type ofaioli or special sauce to make it taste less dry. The meat for the Philly was ok, not overly overcooked slightly. Other thenthat, I probably will not eat there again. Read more
Chicken over cooked, burger hand formed bacon crisp cooked to perfection. Fries crisp on the outside moist on the inside,... great. People working there were friendly and helpful. Overall sandwiches and meats are what I recommend. Ther meats are wellworth the trip. Read more
I had the barbecue pulled pork sandwich and fries. It is delicious
They're a little hard to reach sometimes to place a togo order, but the food is usually pretty good. Serving size is satisfying.
Hidden gem at the end of "dead end". Best out of Texas BBQ I've had in a long time. Worth the stop. Great Baby Back Ribs.
Meat in the store is excellent, got the cooked ribs 3 times now, Good but too dry! Get rid of the cleaning lady that was running... the place Tues. She doesn't have a clue! Macaroni salad I tossed out, Baked beans are very good but tried to charge over $ 6and 1/2 dollars for a pound of them. Not! Read more
We ordered $70 worth of food and it was really bad. The wings were so dry and the sauce was just slapped on. The only thing that... was half way decent was the ribs. Read more
