Reviews for Sweetwater Valley Farm in Philadelphia, TN
Had a wonderful trip out with the family to take the farm tour and try their house made cheese selection. Really good grilled... cheeses in the Cafe, I suggest the "all the cheese" one and a shake. Only thing I wish they had the day we went was some hottomato soup to go with the grilled cheese. Over all I'd say taking the kids out to see where milk comes from and enjoying freshmade comfort food is a day very well spent. Read more
This is a lovely place to visit! They have a cafe on site with grilled cheese sandwiches made with their cheese. They also have... soup/chili to pair with them and kid friendly choices. They do have more "gourmet" options like the Grilled BLT or theButtermilk BBQ. The bbq is my personal favorite and what sandwich is pictured. Attached to the cafe is a quaint gift shop fullof local wares that are very country chic! Then directly across from the barn, where this is all housed, is the cheese shop. That tasty sandwich you just had doesn't have to be a memory, cause you can find that same cheese there along with a lot ofother flavors!! They do have samples so you can be sure you like it before you buy it. They have a viewing window in the shopthat kind of gives you a behind the scenes sneak peak of the cheese making. They do offer daily tours if you would like to seemore! Read more
Came here for lunch and a tour with my family (including a seven-month-old baby). Lunch was so delicious and our tour was... phenomenal! David did a great job educating us about how the farm operates. He told us he has a background in education and itreally shows with how well he teaches and explains things throughout the tour. I always have tons of questions and Davidanswered all of them. Great family fun for all ages!!! Cannot recommend enough. Read more

Lots of different varieties of home made cheese. We were in there on a Sat around noon and they were very crowded, buying up the... cheese. Also next door they have a cafe that makes guess what....grilled cheese sandwiches with all kinds of different varietiesof cheese and you can add ham, turkey or BBQ pork. We didn't eat anything on this visit but will be returning to give it a try. Read more
Our first time here and we had a great time. Their cheeses are so goooooood!!!!! Their food excellent and we loved that it was... from seed to our hands.. that was a pretty cool concept. We had the all cheese and the big something grilled cheese with atomato soup and everything was great. The cow tour.. we had a great tour guide. He was answering all our questions. I have tosay that although it is not my preferred environment for cows.. they look so much better than other videos I have seen fromother places. It is pretty cool to see their automated processes using robots for cleaning and milking cows and their poop. Read more
