We came here for lunch. We had the combination of cold appetizers (highly recommend) and shared a chicken sandwich. The serving... size was generous and that was enough food for two. Food and service were great. Our table leaned a bit to the left. Other thanthat, the ambience was good too. Read more

We had gone for an early dinner and everything was great! Henry, our server, was so very nice and answered my many questions... with a smile. We had complimentary bread and delicious olive oil for dipping. We opted for the sampler cold platter with amixture of hummus, feta, grape leaves, eggplant served with pita. My son's lamb with artichokes was incredibly tender. Mymarinated grilled chicken was delicious and my husband had the sampler which had a bit of everything, lamb, pork, sausage andchicken. All dinners were served with rice and vegetables. The restaurant is very nice, the food, more than generous portions, served hot and very good. Thank you for a most enjoyable evening! Read more

Beautiful, inviting and cozy restaurant. We were greeted outside with a smile and brought to our table. The waitstaff were great... and very attentive, food quality was fantastic, everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. We had the dip sampler and achicken platter, lunch portions were perfect, two of us split it and didn't have to worry about carrying leftovers around town.It was just under $30 for both, very reasonable for the quality of food you receive, especially in a downtown area. The garlicdips and eggplant dip were probably my favorite, you REALLY need to be a fan of garlic for that dip but if you are, you'll behappy. The restrooms are a little small but well kept. Overall the restaurant was clean and tidy. Highly suggest you check itout. Read more

Zorba?s Tavern is my favorite Greek restaurant in Philadelphia and one of my overall favorite restaurants in the entire city. I... have been here countless times, eating both indoors and outdoors. The ambiance is very warm and cozy, with lovely accents ofGreek culture. The food is outstanding and the servers are always very kind and welcoming. The portions are very generous andthe flavor is always worth the price. If you cannot decide on what to order, my personal favorites and recommendations are: thegrilled octopus (best dish in the restaurant) and the cold spread sampler for appetizers, and then the grilled sampler for oneand the saganaki cheese (which is lit on fire in the middle of the restaurant, creating a spectacle for everyone to enjoy) forentrees. If you are in the Fairmount neighborhood of the city or are just looking for some fantastic Greek food, please checkout Zorba?s Tavern! Read more

Authentic Greek food in Philly ???? you know it?s good when the food takes a bit to come out. Their appetizers are so good. I... have no complaints. Also, I love feta. Greek food is supreme. Also outdoor dining! I would come here again and again. Read more

Decided to give this place a try since we were in the neighborhood. We've had other great Greek food in Center City and further... south and wanted to see what Zorbas had to offer. The store front was clean and welcoming with plenty of outdoor seating outfront. Service fast and friendly. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in. We ordered a gyro to go and it was readyin a few minutes. Pita was moist and warm. Shaved lamb could've been grilled or heated a bit more. Dressing was "meh". Weweren't expecting much but the experience was a bit underwhelming..and to top it off, they forgot the fries. We were the onlycustomers at the time so I didn't really understand how it could've happened and we didn't bother to mention it since we werealready on our way so it is what is is. Overall we were a little disappointed because we were hoping to come back and try otherdishes. Damage $10. Read more
