Nice board game cafe with a big library of board games to play with friends. On my last visit to play board games with friends,... I ordered a hazelnut coffee and bang bang ban mi. Hazelnut coffee was sweet and aromatic. Everyone around could notice that Iwas drinking something delicious simply through the aroma. I assumed the sandwich would be spicy but it was quite bland but goodhealthy food otherwise. This place provides a great atmosphere to play games with your friends. Read more

The best thing about Thirsty Dice is the wide variety of games. They have everything from cooperative to competitive board games... and there's really something for everyone. They even have people dedicated to helping you choose games and explaining how toplay. Unfortunately, the food and service weren't exceptional. The menu had many dishes that look great but most of the foodwas lacking flavor. The chicken needed more seasoning, the waffles were okay but we had to ask for syrup, the cinnamon roll wasdry, and the eggs were bland. The "best brunch ever" is a good deal for the mimosas and access to the game library, but the foodmissed the mark. Read more

Came to this place at 9:45 PM. At the front counter, they told us they had no room for walk-ins, and that I would've needed to... have made a reservation because they were booked up for the night. I thanked them, then stood there on my phone and made areservation for 10 PM. They tried to tell me I made the reservation for another location, but at that point I handed over myphone to show this person I indeed had a reservation at the location we were standing in. After being seated, our waitress cameover. She was SUPER nice, and I wish I could name drop, but I don't remember her name. We ordered alcoholic beverages, and myfriend some Parm fries. When she got her fries, she said they were really good. Our waitress came over to tell us that 10:30 wasthe last call for everything. So, at this point we ordered ice cream, and I ordered chicken nachos. The ice cream came out, andwe continued playing our games. Near 11 o'clock, I realized I didn't have my nachos, and I literally saw the kitchen shuttingdown. So, I asked my waitress if my nachos were coming, and she told me yes, not to worry. I watched her walk away and look onher order tablet, and she quickly walked back to tell me that she forgot to put in my order. She was very apologetic, and evenoffered to comp our ice creams. Which she did, on top of giving us free library passes (admission to play the games). Whileseated from 10-12, I asked our waitress for napkins 4 times, and never got any. I Eventually had to get up and get my own. NoAC?! It was a rather hot and humid night... There was NO AC running. I mentioned to one of the people who worked there, and theysaid the owner said it was supposed to get fixed. It was sticky, and icky in there, which tainted my experience further.Seriously, it was notably hot. One of the people who worked there mentioned they aren't allowed to wear shorts. That's a sin, especially if you can't keep your establishments AC working on hot days. The concept of this place is cool t Read more

My wife and I had a fantastic time at Thirsty Dice. Fantastic atmosphere and the staff were amazing. Especially impressed with... the knowledge the staff have of the games. They were quick to help in assisting us with games that we weren’t familiar withand had some great suggestions for games to try during our visit. The drinks were awesome! The food was good as well. Thechicken nachos were our favorite. We will definitely be back! Read more

It is a fun and nice place to go with your friends or have a date as you can talk and play some board games. It does have a very... big collection of games and they are fun. They have a 2 hour limit so try to play the games you know or be prepared to spendsome time learning about the games. Some of the games did not have instructions. If you need someone to explain to you how toplay the games you may need to wait even more. We never felt rushed or bored, we just knew how to play the games we picked. Iwish we could have gotten some recommendations on game you can play with only two people because we did not have a big group butwe still had fun; we don’t have these games at home. I’m not sure if you can just go and play without drinking or eating, you should be able to as you are already paying a 5$ fee to play the games. I wasn’t impressed with the drink or food menu asI didn’t seem to like the content so I just ordered a drink. I don’t find the 5$ fee outrageous; when you go to a club youalso pay a cover and you get nothing. So it’s not that bad. The only thing is that I think they shouldn’t charge like 18% ofgratuity specially if you are just simply ordering a lemonade as you are already paying the fee to play games (‘cause whywould you come here if you are not playing games?) We got a quick service and the staff was friendly If you are driving, you canpark your car in the street, but you may have to walk like 5 minutes. Read more

This is a board game restaurant. It's a full service restaurant and for $5/person more you get access to all their board games.... We went for Sunday Brunch and they do offer a special menu from 10:00am-2:00pm. They have a huge selection of board games andusually someone on staff to be the "game master" and help you understand the rules of games if you aren't familiar. The staff isnice and the food is decent. Would recommend getting a reservation as it can get busy. We had the red velvet waffles andbiscuits and gravy. Read more

This place has solid food options and a great selection of games! Their brunch rosemary biscuits and gravy are to die for. I... wish they had a couple more vegan options but what they do have was pretty tasty. I wish that you had to play a flat rate pertable and not per person to rent games. If you're a large group you end up paying too much to try out a new game. Take advantageof the staffs knowledge of games to learn a new game. Read more
