Great ramen and curry spot in Philly. Expect a wait during dinner hours. Put your name on the list via Yelp ahead of time if you... can. Once seated you have 1 hour to eat, which is plenty. You're waited on quickly and food is also served fast. I had the tantan ramen and side of curry, both delicious and portions are large. Worth the visit if you're craving ramen or curry. Read more

Wow! I am almost speechless, this place was amazing! The food was so delicious and filling, the service was some of the best... I've EVER had, and they get you in and out quickly! I have never been to a proper Ramen restaurant before, but I have a feelingany I go to in the future won't hold up to Terakawa! Read more

I came here for the first time with friends on Friday night and had a great experience. Make sure you get there early to put in... a reservation (can?t do it online, has to be in restaurant), the wait was over an hour! It was worth the wait for sure. All ofour food was delicious and served quickly. Staff were friendly and attentive. I got the chicken katsudon and would definitelyorder it again. Would recommend checking this place out ! Read more

Amazing ramen spot! No reservations, but it is BYOB and not cash only. Service was super fast, with our appetizers coming out... very quickly. The ramen was out of this world as well (get the spicy ramen!). Will definitely be coming back. Read more

Food was alright, prices are a bit high, and the portions are small. At the time of this review, the price for their "Terakawa... Ramen" was $14 and their "pork bun" (appetizer) was $8. A comparison to this restaurant in prices are Vietnamese cuisine. Theyare similar in pricing but size is way bigger. I eat Pho (Vietnamese noodle) all the time and their size are bigger and havemore ingredients for a somewhat similar price or lower, depending on where you go in Philly. The only thing you are reallypaying extra for is the location and the looks inside. I would ONLY recommend this place if there are no other Japaneserestaurant around in Philly. Also, the chef and the staff are Chinese if anyone cares about that for some reason. Read more

One of the best ramen places I have been to across the globe, absolutely worth the wait! They don't take reservations but you... can join the waiting list via Yelp from your phone. The spicy ramen was perfect: rich tonkotsu broth with delightful flair fromthe seafood flavor and balanced pucker from the kimchi. Loved the thick wavy noodles cooked just right. The pork was the onlypart I can even come close to complaining about because it wasn't as perfect as the rest. The Tan Tan ramen that we had was alsoreally great. But I'm partial to the "spicy ramen", whose name doesn't do it justice! The charshu onigiri was delicious. Subtleand tasty with good texture. The service was good and quick. It's pretty small inside, definitely not good for larger groups.Seems like the largest table could seat 5-6 people. There's also a bar top that can sit up to about 10 people. Read more

This is the best ramen place I have ever been to in my entire life! The flavors are outstanding and unreal. They also offer a... vegan option that was out of this World. The broth is rich and full of flavor instead of salty. The consistency of the noodlesdemonstrate they are truly made by hand. The toppings are robust and the bowls come out looking like a piece of art. I highlyrecommend this place and will tell all my friends. Truly a culinary experience!! Read more
