Reviews for Tampopo in Philadelphia, PA
Great quality, authentic Korean food at an affordable price. This place is a weekly go-to whenever I'm missing a taste of home.
I was so satisfied at the end of my meal here. So happy that I live close to it, that way I can order here once a week!... Delicious, spicy, and super affordable. The service was also great! Read more
Got the bibimbop and bulgogi. Both delicious and very generous servings for the price.
Great food! Happened to walk past and ordered kimbop and vegetable tempura - fresh ingredients, great taste, and good portions.
Great Korean food and lots of options. Tried the beef and fried egg bibimbap and it was yummy with lots of veggies and flavor.... Portions were well worth it and they made it quick (about 10 min). Definitely worth checking out Read more
I love Tampopo, their food is always so good! Everything I?ve ever tried has been great, but especially their curries and noodle... dishes, the kimbob roll is also great. Big portions, great price, great people! The 1980s Japanese comedy movie Tampopo is alsohilarious and worth a watch, it?s about a restaurant of the same name. One of my favorite places in the city Read more
Used to go to the 21st street location. Trekked out to UC to satisfy my cravings. Well worth the hike! My husband and I got the... spicy beef bento box, spicy yakisoba bowl, and egg cake (tamagoyaki). No picture of the last 2 items because I scarfed themdown. We were stuffed and the taste was on point like always. Will come back again soon :) Read more
Hot, fresh, flavorful Korean food with quality ingredients. Having this place in the neighborhood is a home run. If you?re... ordering for the first time, I recommend the spicy chicken bowl, which is cooked to umami perfection: hot, salty, smoky, with atouch of sweetness. Same goes for the stir-fried noodles, which are hand-pulled, well-seasoned, and served with fresh vegetables(which were also cooked to perfection; wish they were a little spicier though). I should add these are the best spring rollsI?ve ever eaten. Dumplings were also good. Read more
