The worst Chinese I've had in this city. Not one positive thing I can say about my experience here. The food was such poor... quality I did not even eat more than a bite from each item I purchased. I did order several items and literally spit out thefood once the taste and texture hit my senses. I was so hungry after spending 50 dollars here I had to spend more money atanother restaurant just to feel satisfied. DISGUSTING ALL AROUND! Do not waste your money or time here. Read more
Great experience there! Not overcrowded place, (ok we went on a Wednesday) but very nice and quiet place to have a... conversational dinner. It's boyb, so that is definitely a big plus! The beef and the shrimps were amazing! Would recommend thewonton soup too! Pretty cheap as far as the price is concerned! Just give it a try and you'll be convinced! Read more
Really good food and cozy atmosphere inside if you dine in. Stopped in on a whim and we just found our new favorite Chinese... restaurant. We got the lemon chicken and some chicken fried rice. Nothing is left! Even our 3 year old devoured everything I puton her plate! Will definitely be coming back. Read more
This is the ONLY American Chinese food restaurant that I go to or order from in the city. I was born and raised in and near... Bucks Co. where I feel American Chinese food restaurants have different constraints. And I am not a fan of the majority of theAmerican Chinese food restaurants in the city of Philadelphia. When I was in college here, I ate whatever college kids orderedfrom other local Chinese restaurants, but never enjoyed the quality. Once I moved into Center City and discovered thisrestaurant, I have made my claim and have decided to never go back. The food is of a superb quality and their eat-in service isattentive, personal, and efficient. My mother rarely visits the city, but if she does, this is also the only American Chineserestaurant that she'll way from as well. Read more
Excellent attention to detail, nice and fresh food and good costumer service. This restaurant was just ok up until a year or two... ago when I?m thinking they went under new management because the food and service have improved dramatically. It?s not what I?dcall classic Szechuan (especially dishes that should be spicy are more toned down for Americans pallets) but the ingredients arefresh and the portions are large. Read more
