Reviews for Santucci's Original Square Pizza in Philadelphia, PA
Had the bbq chicken pizza and honey chipotle wings for 2 people spent 45 dollars. Pizza was just awful but it looked good chewy... hardly no chicken on pizza and the boneless honey chipotle was awful. Ate 2 slices of pizza threw rest in trash ate 4 bonelesswings and threw the last 2 in trash with pizza. Need to revamp the staples of their menu. AWFUL! Read more
Visited this location on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and the service is quick considering the... made to order nature. The pizza came out piping hot and incredibly delicious. There are two sizes, and we ordered the smaller ofthe two to split as a quick on the-go lunch. If we had an opportunity to go back and dine-in instead of take out we absolutelywould. I don't have square pizza often but this ranks as one of the best I've had. Great flavor, well baked, just a touch on themessy side since the sauce is on top. Read more

The pizza is tasty and was prepared quickly. It would have been tastier if I had eaten it fresh, instead of purchasing carryout,... but that's on me and I won't deduct stars for my own poor planning. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, also. My main complaintis that the pizzas aren't square! The 9" pizza is square and costs $13 whereas the 17" pizza costs $22. "Oh, wow, a 17" squarepizza, that's almost four times the pizza," you might think to yourself. "I'd be a fool to not splurge, spend the extra $9 andhave a ton of extra pizza." HOWEVER! The 17" pizza is not square, in fact it is RECTANGULAR and 17" by 9," making it only amarginally better deal (in terms of pizza per dollar) than the 9" personal pizza. I would be slightly less peeved by this if itdid not say SQUARE PIZZA in the restaurant name, the name of the pizza, and TWICE on the box! False advertising, Santucci's. Read more
This photo can speak for it’s self. I called in for a personal pizza with cheese on top and got the wrong order. I called back... in to see if they can adjust the error and they told me to come back in. I came back in, the cook in the back took the incorrectorder out the box, added cheese on top and put in oven. They proceeded to hand me back a burnt pie of pizza. I demanded a refundimmediately after seeing the lack of care they have for their customers. The restaurant closes at 10, I ordered at 8:30 and cameback again at 9:15 for the new pie. They had more than enough time to make a new pie for me after THEIR error. I am not one toleave bad reviews but this was ridiculous and now I have to wait for my funds to be placed back onto my card due to their lackof care. They will never get money from me again. i come here with my best friend before the Olivia Rodrigo concert because we’re starving and the aroma coming from outside... lured us in. we walk in and the sign says: “Please wait to be seated” yet there’s zero host, and the copious amounts ofstaff behind the counter are looking confused as if they’ve never seen customers before. i will say, the restaurant wasbeautiful and had a nice environment; however, i can not say the same for the overall experience we both had. we’re seated andour waiter doesn’t even introduce himself. throughout our time there, he was very distracted by the women of whom he workedalongside of, as well as other women who were customers. we both ordered pasta dishes that were priced at $17 each. the portionswere small, and there were no salads on the side or bread. for $17, i was extremely disappointed. the food came out and wasmediocre looking, but after we both kept eating, it was giving college dining hall food. the pasta was not cooked correctly, andwas giving Barilla boxed penne. when it was time to pay, we waited several minutes for him to return and take our payment. thestaff seemed like making money was their only priority, when in reality they could have tried to hide it more and act like theycare about the customers and the service. Bomb pizza and laid back atmosphere. This place is decorated very simply, but with style and a dinner night out vibe to it. The... pizza was filling and delicious. I usually finish a pizza, but this puppy was too much jaja. My server Claudia was superpatient, attentive and helpful in providing suggestions. Only thing I was not impressed with was their fries. I thought thecheese would come on top not on the side. Overall, if you and friends need a dinner suggestion, this might be your answer! Read more
Easily one of the best places for Pizza in the city. I might argue in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Sometimes a simple... Pepperoni pizza does wonders, other times you go for something more complex like a Cheesesteak pizza with steak, peppers, andonions. No matter what, you'll be getting an amazing pizza with prime ingredients and a crust that's heaven. Read more
