Solid spot for pizza in Philly. We got the red pie, garlic and greens, and regular cheese. Garlic and greens was our favorite by... far. We also got the ricotta appetizer which went rly well with the pizza crust. Nice selection of wine (we got a bottle of therosata) and pretty good service. Hard to find parking in the area so be sure to factor in extra time if you drive. Only reasonfor 4 stars is because I’m a harsh pizza critic, but it was still really good and would def come back again. Everybody knowsone bite. Read more

Sat outside tonight in 90 degrees and it felt awesome outside. The starters are thoughtful and delicious. We got the kale... salad which was very tasty, as well as the charred cabbage, which was the first time I willingly had cabbage in my life! Thepizzas are really awesome. Cooked in a stone oven and a whole variety of toppings. 6 slices on approximately a 14" pie, we gotthe plane and also a sausage and onion pie. Super crispy and tons of fresh flavor. Cocktails are great too, top to bottom agreat experience and the staff was easily the best part!!!! Read more

Every single dish we had was exceptional. We were a party of 6 post-graduation and across the board we all said it was one of... the best meals we’ve ever had. We came hungry and ordered a ton. Left not one bite. Seasonal ingredients prepared subtly andeach unique. The shrimp, asparagus, and sausage and onion pizza top the list but ricotta and kale Caesar and zucchini weredivine too. Too hard to pick a favorite. And we had a 9:30 reservation and were never rushed. Bravo! Would eat here weekly if welived in Philly. Wish you’d open in Brooklyn :) Read more

The food at Sally's is delicious! Really loved the apps (my favorite was the chicken liver mousse)! The pizzas were also very... delicious and the drinks were on point too. The service was great! Such a cute spot for a date or to grab dinner with a smallgroup of friends! Read more

I’m bummed to write this because I love SALLY. As someone whose been to over 200 restaurants in Philly, the food, ambience,... and service have all been excellent all of the 5+ times I’ve come in for dinner. I really am a big fan and have alwaysrecommended it to my friends and colleagues. So much so that I picked to go on my recent birthday with 5 close friends. One ofthese friends was kind enough to bring a cake from Di Bruno and we kindly asked if it could be kept in the fridge while we atedinner. After a great meal, we got the check and noticed there was a $30 extra charge. When we asked the waitstaff they said itwas for the cake. After a bottle of wine and additional glasses/cocktails, four small plates, three pizzas, and a chocolate cake(yes, despite bringing a cake I always get this dessert), I thought this was excessive and not customer-forward. One of myfavorite things about SALLY is the neighborhood feel and this steep extra charge to cut a cake and put four candles on it is notneighborly. Bottom line, go for the pizza and leave the cake at home I guess. Read more

If you picked up a hip Brooklyn restaurant and dropped it in Philly, this would be it. The vibe is cool, the people are hip and... the food is delicious. Menu of pizza and unique starter dishes like chicken meatballs, Japanese yams and more. A little on thepricier side but the service makes up for it in a great way. Read more

My cheerful, friendly, and informative server, Emily, brought my dining experience to life at Sally, where I offered her the... opportunity to pair a different wine selection with each course I chose to try. The ricotta with local honey was such abeautiful and cozy dish, the cabbage unique and satisfying, and the pizza I came for hit the spot. However, the selection ofwine at Sally is what makes it different from any restaurant I’ve been to in the city. I enjoyed three glasses, each totallydifferent and truly unique. I have full intentions of returning to Sally’s bottle shop to purchase full bottles of what Idrank this evening! This place has it all, the food is great, the wine selection is brilliant, and more important than either ofthose, the energy/care of the staff was on point. I think you get the point. I loved it, and I’ll be returning shortly. Read more
