Reviews for Pretty Girls Cook in Philadelphia, PA
We live in NJ and always in search of our next foodie adventure. This place was AMAZING! It?s a very intimate setting, the staff... were great and the food was EVERYTHING! We ordered the wings for starters (finger licking good!) I ordered shrimp scampi and myother half ordered the chicken pasta?all so delicious! If I had one complaint, it would be that we felt there should be garlicbread (or similar) to go with the pasta?we are bread lovers LOL! Lastly, the mixed drinks were strong and also delicious. We aredefinitely going back! Read more
This was our 4th time trying to catch the restaurant open. It was worth the wait. I had the Sinful Salmon with shrimp. It was... extremely well prepared. Seasoned perfectly. The service was fantastic. Our waiter made some excellent recommendations. Theonly miss for me were the chairs. These unique chairs overpower the entire dining experience. I Never could get comfortablewhile eating but then again, maybe that?s the goal. Enjoy the food and move on. All-in-All, I?d say definitely get there andenjoy the food!!!! Read more
This is a small place. All the tables are pretty close together, which was a bit uncomfortable at first. But I hope they're able... to expand one day, because the food is great. Me and my group came in for brunch and got everything that is pictured here exceptfor the crab Omelet and Chicken and waffles. The presentation on the shrimp and grits definitely could have been a lot neaterand refined. And The Carafe of Mimosa could have definitely been bigger. I need to see if they have a bottomless mimosa option. All in all, I'll definitely be back because it's a pretty lit spot for maybe a date or a smaller group. Read more
Beautiful space. Great energy when walked in the door. Amira (who has my beautiful nieces name too) was attentive and helpful.... Our food was perfectly seasoned and creative. I will return. Read more
PGC came highly recommended from a friend who lives in NJ. The first thing that you notice is the decor & ambiance, which ... highlights phenomenal women ?.very cheerful, lively and inviting. Kevin was the host, he?s super gracious and helpful! Ienjoyed my meal; the portions were generous enough that I had leftovers to take home - ?Ladies Love Salmon? Grilled salmon ona bed of confetti rice, it was DELISH! Looking forward to tasting the Sunday Brunch menu. ???? Read more
Very cute place I love the whole set up but hopefully they do really well because they need a bigger spot. They seemed very... busy, which is good. My food was very good the only problem was the salmon was a bit salty but still eatable lol. Our waiter wasbomb. Kevin did a really good job catering to us when needed. He made some mistakes but he owned up to everything and madeeverything right for us. Seen a couple attitudes but I get they were really busy so I didn?t take it personal. Overall niceexperience it was worth my hour drive. I will come back ???? Read more
All I can say is wow. My salmon, crabmeat and shrimp sandwich was delicious but it was a Tad bit salty. The great thing about... this establishment is that it's homemade and made when ordered so next time I'll ask for less seasoning/salt. My mother lovedher Beef burger, crabmeat and shrimp sandwich and she loved. Customer service was awesome. Oh and the atmosphere was great...Thedecor on walls was very nice. Keep up the good work. See ya next time. Read more
Came in for a quick dinner before I went to the 76ers vs Nets game. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a young man... who took us to our seats and told us that he'd be serving us as well. He was able to grab our drink orders and got them out in atimely fashion. Shortly after he took our food orders, the food began to come out. I ordered the turkey burger and fries.Everything was fresh and hot. The food was amazing. Overall my experience was a great one and I'd definitely return in thefuture whenever I'm back in Philly. Thank you guys and keep up the good customer service. Read more
