Came here for the first time with some friends a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and... friendly and the food was delicious. The chicken had great flavor and melted in your mouth. Best spring rolls I?ve ever had forsure. Will be returning to try more. Read more

Wonderful first experience. Chewy, crispy roti with a delicately flavored curry for dipping is a must have starter. We only... tried a few things, but we were seated near the open kitchen so we saw all the orders coming out for other tables. Can't wait togo back and try more dishes. Friendly service. Read more

Food was overall great (get the squid!), but had a poor experience with service. We got all of our food except for one dish... (Hainanese Chicken Rice), and had to ask the kitchen 3 times over the course of 30 minutes to get our food. When it finally cameout, the rice was missing, taking another 10 minutes. Read more

My boyfriend and I planned on having dinner at 4:30 pm. We wanted to give it a try since it had gotten good ratings. We ordered... two appetizers (2x Roti Canai) and two entreés (Green Nasi Lemak + Hainanese Chicken w/ Rice). Service was extremely slow. Ittook 15 minutes to flag down a waiter to take our order, and took more than 40 minutes for all of our dishes to arrive. It took5 minutes to get seated, and when we DID get seated, we weren't given menus or water. We got a QR code for the menu, but the QRcode didn't scan. We had all of our dishes at the table at 5:30 pm, meaning that the entire process (from seating to actuallydining) took one hour. Our entreés arrived before our appetizers. Service was so slow ? I would avoid if you're on a timedschedule ? because the restaurant was severely understaffed on a Sunday night. It got to the point where the party behind meleft after 20 minutes of waiting to get their order taken. Normally, I don't mind the service being a bit slow on the weekends,as I understand that these tend to be busy days. But one hour is too much for a party of TWO. The food was good. The Roti Canaihad a great texture combination when combined with the curry and chicken. I'd love to try the vegetarian version. I wouldrecommend to anyone dining here, as I believe it's a staple. The Green Nasi Lemak was delicious, and the portion was very large. It included seafood, cucumbers, a sliced egg and various veggies like onion, peppers, carrots, etc. For $13, the portion sizewas wonderful. The Hainanese Chicken & Chicken Rice was okay ? it was nothing special, and I'm not sure if I would recommend itover some other options. I wasn't a big fan of the flavor combination. Overall, while the food was good, I won't be coming backhere due to the extremely slow and bad service. Read more

The food was absolutely phenomenal and the Roti Kani is a must have (they have a vegetarian and non vegetarian options for it).... The serving sizes were also very generous and the prices weren't too crazy. The service was a little slow but we did go at asuper busy time. The staff was also super nice and considerate of dietary restrictions. Definitely a great Malaysian spot tovisit. Read more

My friend and I went to eat there, my friend food came and while I waited for mine I watched several Chinese people come in and... get their food while I still waited for mine. My friend finished his plate, and I still had no food, only a bowl of coconutrice. I was told service is usually great here, so please don't go solely on my experience. The waiter was pleasant, but someonedropped the ball on my order. Read more

One of my favorite restaurants. I?m actually a regular here. I am here atleast once a month. I sit literally at the same table.... The staff is sweet and very kind. Their price ranges are great. For both of these I paid under $30 and still was so full I hadto take them home. They have authentic Malaysian cuisine. Super yummy!! Read more

I miss living in Philly just so I could eat here. It's always busy here with people waiting outside in the rain just to get... their food. They greet you immediately when you enter, seat you, and bring you hot jasmine tea. They're attentive with service, but they give you plenty of space. The restaurant is big as far as Philly restaurants go, but if you can't get a seat takeout isyour next best bet. The food comes out hot, fresh, and quick. Do yourself a favor and order your own roti canai because youwill not want to share. The chicken is tender and chopped into bite sized pieces with soft potato for flavor and texture. Myfavorite dish is the noodles with salted fish, but everything here is delicious. This is the best Malaysian food stateside andyou should try everything on the menu. Read more
