Service was lack luster at best, the bathrooms reeked and I'm pretty sure I saw a stain that had been there from days before.... The bartender denied a special that was clearly posted, and basically ignored simple request like water, in favor of walkingaround the bar doing random task. In brief dirty / poor service / but good food. Read more

For the first few years since I moved to Philadelphia, this was my favorite bar. We would be here at least twice a week, for... happy hour and on the weekend for nightlife. Over the last year plus, this location has gone steadily downhill. They changewhat's on and off their happy hour menu without transparency, the nightlife scene has gotten to be all miss and no hit, and thefood isn't at great as it used to be. The draft selection isn't as great as it used to be either, and they under utilize a greatbuilding. I won't be back, and it breaks my heart. RIP PW. Read more

I love this place. Amazing mozzarella sticks and all the food is great. The bartender was very attentive even when it got busy.

Scrapple slider is the best breakfast deal in Philly. 4-$11 with cooper cheese. Doesn’t get any better.

We were traveling home on Mother's day looking for somewhere to stop without a buffet going on. We found this spot and thought... we'd give it a try. The menu was appetizing but unfortunately when our sandwiches came out they were soggy. There was a huge togo order before our food was ready and it seems maybe our sandwiches sat while they had to make more fries which was a bummer. The chicken sandwich I ordered was very flavorless despite it being a chicken caprise panini with a balsamic glaze. We wouldmost likely try again sometime and hope for a better outcome but it was disappointing nonetheless. Read more

Stopped by Wednesday afternoon for a some burgers to go and saw the all day $6 Bud special that was advertised on the sign... posted outside so decided to order a pitcher and sit outside. Tables are well spaced. Service was friendly and our burgers andfries were tasty. When it came time to order some more drinks and questioned about other drinks listed on the posted specials,it was then that our server informed us that the those specials no longer applied. Needless to say we felt a bit deceived. Burgers were good and service was decent but take down that sign or at least update it with current prices. Pro tip: order theburgers to go and and buy a case at the distributor down the street if you're looking to take you burgers to go. Read more

(During COVID) I was briefly visiting and was walking through South St., I noticed many of the eateries were either closed or... only offering takeout, but Paddy Whacks offered outdoor seating on the street with shade which I appreciate so I decided to havelunch there. The service was friendly and attentive, I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger and cleared my plate. It was perfect. Read more
