If your looking for small plates Oloroso has many great small plates each delicious in their own right. We had almost all the... tapas and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The paella was delicious. Order this first and have small plates while youwait. The drinks are in par with the food. An incredible meal for our 20th Anniversary - Thank you Oloroso! The table was perfect, towards the back against the side... wall. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Food, was way beyond expectation. Each selection was nicely sized, andseasoned perfectly. We highly recommend the "Charcutería y Queso" - some lovely selections. And then, the real star of thenight, "Grilled Octopus- Muhammara, Fennel, Black Olives, Mombasa". Tender and delicious. We will, absolutely, be back formore, and we will bring many friends to share in the evening. Read more
Poor service! Sitting next to a table of five, the server completely ignored us. Waited long time to order and to pay. No water... refilled. The fish and the sourdough are too sour for us. But the rest are good. Read more
I've come here 5 times now and am always ordering new dishes to try. This past time I went exactly at 4:30pm when they opened,... the waitress is energetic, knowledgeable, and works pretty much every time I go. We are typically seated in the same spot. Theplace is pretty dim, I wish there was maybe more light at the table. Parking is, as usual, difficult for the area. Short Rib:Mixed feelings about this. The short rib itself is a WOW for texture just melted, the sauce is a red wine reduction, which wasdisgusting, with how pungent it was. Portions were atrocious for $22. Ribeye $55/per person: Took about 45 minutes to cook,came out with rosemary. The flavor was great, but unfortunately the cook is Medium to Rare and completely forgot to tell themMedium-Well. The waitress didn't ask us either. I think this was an oversight of hers or maybe a bias, but I definitely wantedto puke when I saw bloodiness. The Ribeye was salted well, and had good flavor even the day after as leftovers, but I had toreheat it much longer than I thought to just get it to medium-well. This ribeye is iffy, but I would try it again, asking formedium-well. It comes with 2 side dishes as well, which were appreciated. (Roasted Shishito peppers, and some kind of mushroomdish possibly Setas - Roasted Oyster Mushrooms, Migas, Jerez Vinegar $12) Dessert - Left - Churro (crispy, fresh, long,sugary) Right - Soy, Nutty, Red Wine reduction ( looks like a flan honestly. She didn't have a name for this just told usingredients that red thing was disgusting but the flan part was cold but good) Have ordered over and over again: - PatatasBravas - Crispy Potatoes, Spicy Tomato Sauce, Manchego, Saffron Aioli, Fresnos $10 (consistently great) every time I eat it,it's always a "wow" for the first bite when I revisit. We had a great experience! The atmosphere was perfect for a date night at the tail end of our travels. The service was... exemplary. The food was amazing. We had wine and cocktails, charcuterie and tapas, dessert and sherry. Everything was deliciousand attractively presented. Worth every penny! Read more
