Great food and okay service, but kicked everyone out while they were still technically open in the middle of a world series... game. Was planning on buying more food and drinks but had to go elsewhere for the rest of the game, along with all of the otherpatrons inside. Read more
Great atmosphere, my friend and I split a roast beef & extra provolone w/ an Italian long hot. We also split a roast pork,... provolone w/ broccoli rob. The roast beef was great perfect amount of gravy and served on a Kaiser, long hot was an enjoyablehot, I was not in there sweating from it. Not a huge fan of broccoli rob but I ate it, it was okay and pork was a nice salty toit. More of a coke fan, and they had Pepsi products. Not what it used to be. The roast beef is covered in a thick brown gravy that tasted like Franco-American. I thought the beef... used to be in it's juices. ( Au Jus ) The server Michelle was very nice. This is not a $10.00 sandwich. This is South Philly,You can get a better beef or pork anywhere. Read more
